    Kinda wished people showed more simple ways to better use beginner scales like the pentatonics like this. Helps newcomers to express themselves more, I used to hardly EVER skip strings and mostly play scales linearly without trying to its a real bad habit.

      Just remember no matter what key you are in, if it's minor, then all you have to do is shift 3 frets down and play the same pattern. You are now playing major. As long as the root note stays the same.

      This guitar has a wild story but the body is a 70s Fender body that was refinished in factory Lamborghini green haha

    Could also look at it as playing an F# Minor pentatonic over the A Major chord and always ending on the A note and not the F#

    But what are you playing with those 4 notes ? I understand the simplicity of the lesson but how about explaining the lick please ? It might be easy for you but I just keep hitting the same notes with monotonous regularity that just sounds like I’m playing scales ! Help !

    I think of playing like a lot of what BB King would play,.. do more with less.. can do a lot with 3 or 4 notes. and more musical than some shredders,, sorry not sorry
