Trevor Moorehouse was great in the The Whitest Kids U’ Know, along with Zach Kruegger, Sam Leatherbrown, Timmy Pennywillams, and Darren Trumeterlector, what a funny bunch of slashers lol
I think we all know who's really killer in Bloody Murder: it was the guy who took that photo of Jason in Friday the 13th part V.
This really does look like a Disney Channel movie. Also, Trevor Morehouse is not as amazing or dreamy as Ben Tramer.

This looks nothing like a DCOM. This is the same year that The Phantom of the Megaplex came out. They looked a lot better than this.
I hope one day The Snob reviews Ice-T’s “Surviving The Game”. It’s seems like it’s a direct to video movie, but done right and released in theaters.
Also has Gary Busey give one of the best monologues in film history.
It’s the 90’s remake of The Most Dangerous Game starring Ice-T as a wiley hobo that we never knew we needed.
He should also do Vanilla Ice's movie. The level of Vanilla's cringe is stunning. It would make for a hilarious review by His Snobness.

i THINK IN GENERALL Brad is in a better place in his life. He has a successful show, a hot wife, a house. In the old videos he had that Im stuck living in my grandmas basement thing going for him.
I love how the first shot of the movie is the most 2000s thing I've seen in a long, long time.

Nothing more fun than a bloodless slasher film.
The sequel more than makes up for it. Plus a longer sex scene and nudity.

As soon as I saw that cover I remembered this movie from when I worked at Blockbuster. Customers kept renting it thinking it was a Friday the 13th sequel.
Jason is famous in this movie that he's not in. Flattering is the best way to honor better stars and movies.
We had a commercial back at my end where thry made a hommage to old slasher flicks. It was a guy it in the yard wearing a mask and using a chainsaw. The old couple inside said isnt this great we have always wanted someone to take care of the old trees in the yard. Lets go outside and ask if he can help us with that. It ends with the house being empty and you can hear the sound of the chainsaw revving up in speed.
What the hell was it a commercial for?

Jessica Morris I believe mentioned this film on a talk show and said it wasn't something she was proud of.
So a soap opera makes you proud but a horror movie doesn't? LOL (I love soaps AND horror) Or was it just that this film was so bad? Oh well!

I rented this from a Premiere Video store 20 years ago as a kid. I loved Friday the 13th and this box cover certainly stood out, so I just had to rent it. Obviously, it's not Friday the 13 or Jason, but I still really enjoyed this as a kid, as did my sister.
Every time I see a hockey mask or hear a chainsaw the first thing I think of is *looks a script* Trevor Morehouse!
Remember having seen both movies in the videostore, because the other dvd/vhs-cover art was that of a Michael Myers type mask rip-off that did catch your eye.

Awesome movie. It's a shame that the sequel did not capture the weird 00's Disney Channel movie feel that this film has in spades. It really feels like this was at some point slated to be a kids film, but that they at the last minute decided that it would be a very tame slasher.
As somebody who does not even like slasher movies all that much the jokes and winks fall even flatter for me. Wow!

I remember this one. I had both on VHS. Never heard of the spin-off.
There was supposed to be a third film but after Artisan went bankrupt the rights got tangled in legal limbo so the spin-off had to be made.
Here's an idea for a slasher movie parody. Everyone is a slasher villain out to kill the rest but none of them knows that about the others.

trevor moorehouse might look like a Dollar-store jason, but i think he's kinda cool, in that " really simple, archetypal slasher" sort of way, plus while jason is definitely better, treevor must be doing something right since when you bring up jason to most people they'll say something akin to " oh yeah jason, big guy, hockey mask, jumpsuit, stalks teens at a camp with a chainsaw right?", jason most definitely better, but Trevor seems to be pretty iconic in his own right, even if he'll never be as famous as successful as jason or as Dreamy as Ben Tramer, p.s. R.I.P. Ben

13:14 - It is at this time I am guessing the Dad who's writing to her is going to be the killer. Also, this is easily the most not-bloody slasher movie I've ever seen. I think even He Knows You're Alone was more violent than this.
That would have been a way better twist.
Those marketing geniuses had to put the word, "BLOODY" in the film's title to make up for the lack of blood in its kill scenes!

I actually liked that it played itself fairly straight.

First time I heard of it was in The Cinema Snob's review of Rape Squad 10 years ago.
I recommend Unmasked 25. It's a British parody of the Friday the 13th series that is also a decent slasher film.

This reminds me of a movie that I rented in the early 2000s that was a camp slasher. I remember absolutely NOTHING form the movie itself, but there was a documentary that they obviously spent more time on... bragging that they filmed it entirely by camcorder. I don't remember the title, nor do I care to. I just remember thinking that filming a movie on camcorder was a new, possibly big thing at the time. ... I've learned otherwise in the past few years from movie reviewers on CZcams.
I think the film you're thinking of is Camp Blood 1 or 2.

Well, other ideas of what you could do on Friday the 13ths, the fan films Don't Hike Alone and Don't Hike in the Snow. They even have some of the same actors from Jason Lives, and very well made for fan films IMO.
