The reason this is more salient is it comes from the last President to be a wartime general himself, Supreme Allied Commander of World War II- European Theater no less. they are increasingly overplaying their hand and testing the patience of other actors in the region..points 1, 3, 5 and 6 are serious escalations and constitute previous red lines - they are now trying to deescalate, true, but patience is wearing thin indeed.. frankly, the decision to go to war no longer rests solely in their hands and they are very aware that they have overplayed their hand to the point of providing a casus belli - I hope cooler heads will prevail but the threat is not minor any longer - should Iran attain nuclear capacity war WILL follow

@@theholidayshow1026 Because people are not very bright. It's like people not knowing the difference between an endemic, epidemic, and pandemic. The best they would become is a regional war (debatable as not the entire ME region would go to war like Jordan or Egypt). But for the sake of it, there's a possibility, with Iran, Lebanon, Palestine, part of Yemen and Syria (I don't think Assad Syria proper is part of it) on one side, and Israel on the other. That's a regional war. Not a local war. Or a continental war. It's fearmongering and trying to bring images of WW1 and more notably WW2.
