Well, there is a reason that there are more misunderstandings in the hood than anywhere else. AAVE results in not only the out-group not understanding the people that use it, it also creates confusion within the in-group, leading to an increase in disputes and violence. Turns out it is not very useful for everyone to be speaking different languages, making up new languages to “stand out”, and then proceeding to struggle to understand each other.

The most annoying thing about dealing with racist white people in congress is that very few people will defend you. Most of congress either agree with MTG or want to keep the status quo despite its incredible amount of flaws. It doesn’t help that there’s not really a comeback minorities can use for racist comments.
For example, I’m black and in my freshman year of college, I was roomed with a white kid. He’s cool but one of his friends would always make obviously racist comments and then say “it’s just a joke”. One time we were voting on a movie to watch and he said since I was only worth 3/5ths of a person then his group wins. Funniest joke ever right? Now what do I say back? Anything I say is either less scathing or puts him in a further position of power (like calling him racist or something). Luckily, I had the ability to kick him out but other people like me aren’t always so lucky.
Im white and It feels very exausting so i cant imagine. I don't often see people point this out (on these rraction videos at least) so I just wanted to reply back to boost it. Also, I like your username.
