They know who she is already. They had the vehicle information and apparently found it already.
They've got a name, description, everything I bet. It's just a matter of time trying to track her down, and probably more importantly take her in without incident.
Lots of time the police are waiting for the right moment to get the perpetrator with the least amount of resistance such as early in the morning or boxing in a vehicle as the perpetrator is traveling by vehicle.
What they want to avoid is a hostage or barricade situation, or a fleeing perp in a high speed car chase. They also want the perpetrator unnamed or disarmed and preferably not in a SWAT team raid of a residence with others (especially innocents) around.
I'm thinking they are just waiting for the right moment now.
Some one or many are hiding her sadly despite her boldly doing this over something that made no sense. It is like now people are so violent over the smallest thing’s,you cannot check them, get in a back and forth with them as they will not walk away they will try to unalive you, hurt you physically. This headcase got out her car to do this over chicken ,and this baby just saying I want my mama broke my heart knowing for the rest of her life she will always want her mama.
