Can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that this absolute legend of a man right here not only learned how to play these songs flawlessly, but also did it in one camera shot? In other words, he probably had to retake it a few times and did so without losing patience, fumbling, or changing the speed or the music. Legend.

The fact that half of these were composed by John Williams. What a GOAT
Wait really the only theme that I know was made by John Williams is Harry Potter Hedwig's theme
@@Kingderp469 Star Wars (all of them), Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, and Harry Potter in this were all John Williams music. He has been scoring films since the 1950s.
@@scythelord He also did the theme from "Gilligan's Island". I was blown away when I found that out. Before, I only knew he did Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Jurassic Park (before Harry Potter was even written). Yeah, I'm old (but not that old; I watched Gilligan's Island on re-runs after school in the '70s).
YES. JOHN WILLIAMS IS AMAZING.
@@scythelord just to clarify, John Williams scored the main 9 movies, but not Rougue One or Solo
Percussionists definitely don't get enough credit for their skill.
in fact, the marimba and other similar instruments are just an imitation of a piano, so he just plays the "piano" with sticks
Ye
@Lezoiram - for any instrument in fact
@@pahan3335 Definitely not true,, the technique and physical strength needed to play marimba at a high level gets no easier no matter how much piano skill you have. It only really helps with the layout of the keyboard and notes.
@@PlushChronicles I am not sure that it is difficult to learn how to knock with sticks, and what is the whole "high level" in them? how many years have you been playing the piano and the marimba?
Has anyone realised how musically gifted this guy is
Yeah, but I'm kinda disappointed that he called his xylophone a marimba.
That was so good even Amber Heard that :))

She almost caught captain Jack Sparrow
I dont understand how percussionists do this. These are literally different instruments with different ideal strike zones and you often see people dedicating their lives to just one, and percussionist be like "no thats boring."
It takes practice, patience and dedication but if you love it, then those three things come without noticing!
Its takes alot of practice, im a percussionist im decent on the drumset. A little below average on the bells, piano, keyboard etc takes alot of work to nail
yea u just need to practice everything a lot
Percussion often lacks the depth of other instruments in terms of expression and, to an extent, technique
@@alexismandelias Lack of technique?
I, percussionist for a decade, didn't even know you _could_ play with five mallets, let alone how. I'm decent with two different techniques of two though.
The Indiana Jones one gave me the biggest whiplash nostalgia/flashback to me and my brother playing the Indiana Jones Lego game for house on end.
Thanks for sharing that! I love those memories we get from hearing music!
UES
Hey man, as a percussionist, this is awesome. I love how you play everything flawlessly in one camera shot. Props to you man. I do have one suggestion. Maybe you could try putting a separate microphone for their away from the instruments so there's no distortion. But otherwise, I'm loving it!
The distortion is from phone speakers not being able to handle the sounds, it is a clear sound but phone speakers struggle with percussion sounds big time!
