This brought all of my pet mwmories too. I was not abke to be there when my childhood dog was put down. Huge mistake. Be happy that you were able to spend that time with him and have some happy days and not watxh him deteriorate over many months. Beautiful video.
My heart is breaking into pieces. I’m a 60 year old man and this is affecting me so deeply. Love is a very distant idea for me right now in my life but Bobby know that though I’ve never been a part of yours and the boys lives personally this has reached deep inside my emotional well and touched something in my heart that is bringing me to sobering tears and heartache. Bobby has loved his dogs for almost 10 years, with them almost at all times, When they were apart, like for real like Pacific Ocean crossings, they dogs stayed at my house. They missed Bobby so much you could feel it in the air. It took a week or more to get them to stop watching out the window. When he returned home Maverick and Goose literally cried with joy for an hour and would not leave his side. This is indeed real life.No actors here.
I remember when I was walking back to the car with just the dog lead in my hand, it hit me like a ton of bricks, I had just taken my beloved dog to be put to sleep

However, you gave Maverick, and Goose, a wonderful life and allowed him to be the best dog, companion and friend he could be. You gave him such an awesome life. He has traveled to so many places and seen and played in some of the most beautiful places ever. He sails on now. You gave him more love then anyone else could. As a dog owner myself I know exactly how you feel. I've had dogs all my life and it's never easy. But we do it for the love we have for our 4 legged friends. We can't bare to watch them suffer. Until this video I didn't know where you came up with the name of your channel. I have always had labs. Never even thought of a labradoodle. They are beautiful dogs though. We understand how you are feeling. My wife and I lost out Pomeranium "BANDIT" in May of 2019 that we had for 13 years. It was very tough on both of us as he was with us every day, all day. We waited till Aug and got our new best friend Gaberial ( a Sheltie ). We will pray for you and it will get better with time. I am so very sorry, I know how it feels. My husband and I lost our beautiful and precious golden retriever Zachary to bone cancer last October 20 , 2020 . He was our baby boy and he will be loved and missed forever but we know we will see him again one day ❤❤❤

A few months after I lost my Sister, I lost Dutchess 😢 my Beloved dog . I know how heartbreaking this is. I cried so hard watching this ! You have Maverick a wonderful life and he loved you ! I’m a mess... after having to leave my best friend, a short haired collie named Fell, behind when immigrating from the UK in the 70’ due to rabies quarantines, my English setter,, also Fell, was lost to a vehicle accident, and my last, Gypsy, an adopted mix breed, to similar circumstances as maverick... my heart goes out to you and your family and all who Maverick brought joy to. My Thoughts are with you.
Very nicely done Bobby! Mav loved Megan. Both of the boys did. Great to see flashbacks when you sold everything and bought the rough seas and you and Megan started a new journey in your life. Nice to relive those days in a tribute fit for Maverick. He was a good boy! RIP Buddy!!!

We understand how you are feeling. My wife and I lost out Pomeranium "BANDIT" in May of 2019 that we had for 13 years. It was very tough on both of us as he was with us every day, all day. We waited till Aug and got our new best friend Gaberial ( a Sheltie ). We will pray for you and it will get better with time. Really enjoyed the tribute to Maverick at the end of the video and that's what you hold onto is those good memories. Love your videos and God Bless You. Walt and Tandra
I am so sorry for your loss. I have a laberdoodle as well (Walden) and I know the connection you can have with such a unique dog. Know this though, you gave Maverick such a great quality of life with your travels! And having a playmate to share it with made it that more special. Remember the good times and the fact Maverick will be playing and swimming on those beaches forever. Fair Winds.
