Twin mom as well, one was diagnosed with brain cancer at 4yo. She's doing very well today. All I ever heard was I couldn't do that if I was you, or I couldn't imagine, or idk how you do it. I always said you just do it. I don't have a choice not to. What you said is so true and hit straight home. If I didn't have to go through it, I'd probably be one the ones saying I don't know how you do it lol. We often don't give ourselves credit to how strong we are or what we are very capable of doing. Say you can't and you can't and won't. Say you will and you most definitely will. Don't doubt yourself. You CAN do anything you put effort into doing.

My twins didn't have colic, but I breastfed full-time so I had to do EVERY feeding and they were on opposite feeding schedules. I didn't want to force them to be on the same schedule, I wanted them to be able to feed when THEY were hungry. But boy, I suffered. I hallucinated from lack of sleep. It was worth it though, I breastfed them both until they naturally weaned at 2 after I conceived their little brother!
I had colic that badly but I am not a twin. My parents took turns sleeping in the car while they drove me around town. If they didn't I would be up for days screaming. I was a great baby. The best.

My grandma loves telling stories from when my mom and aunt were little. They were identical twins and she always tells us she couldn't feed one at a time. She had to have two spoons in each hand and feed both at the same time to stay sane. I love twins and the badass moms that take care of them

My son was premature and needed oxygen for his first year of life. I get the same question when people find out. The thing is, all these unexpected things don't usually give us time to worry about them in advance. Life happens and you handle it.
My aunt had a disabled child due to medical negligence, she had to take care of her for 40 years, she practically did everything alone, she's humblest women there exists, even if she has nothing she is going to give half of her rice to make sure you ate, I don't know how she did it, but people that cares for disabled people have the biggest heart ❤❤
I lost my identical twin sons in January after they were born too prematurely for medical intervention to work. No doubt children, especially twins, are hard work. but to anyone who has multiples remember to always appreciate what you have even when it's hard to. i would much rather be dealing with two screaming babies right now, instead of grief. Stay strong everyone
