🇴🇲 OMAN - Today I am going to be trying out a traditional local food in Oman - camel meat! I will be visiting a local restaurant in Salalah to see what they have to offer and to try out the delicacy. I hope you will join me on this taste-adventure.

WHO AM I?
In 1999 I volunteered in an orphanage in Kenya and it changed my life. I then worked in Albania with unprivileged girls and kids for 3 years. I came back to Italy and started teaching at primary school but I wasn't happy.
So in 2010 I took the decision to follow my passion, not my pension. I first volunteered in Cambodia for a year, then opened a blog and travelled around South East Asia, China, Iran and Oman, always showing the lives of real locals, away from the tourist spots.
My goal - my mission in life - has always been to inspire people to be brave, follow their passion, open their minds and discover the kindness of other people and cultures.

Yemeni bread is unbelievably tasty! Sitting on the floor is typical Omani I really like it. They eat with hands which makes the experience more enjoyable - even though I still have to learn how to eat rice Lol
