I love my Slammer III and IV 8500s for casting top water lures to pelagics and casting to shark baits in the surf, but a conventional like the VISX 16 is better for trolling, fly lining live baits, and knife jigging.

I am interessted in the small clip which release the line and the reel get in free spool after a bite, whats the name ? I got a Slammer IV 8500 HS and the Shimano Grappler Type J spinning rod XH 566, will this work ?

I hope that fish was dead before you stuck it so many times. Anybody who does that to a live fish needs to realize the pain it's going through , for their fishing entertainment . Nice video , though.
