How to fix BMW 6 series convertible top motor / DHQ

I found the $460 problem for a $3.00 part. I fix my BMW 645ci convertible top motor ..I can do yours also ...woo hoo..sorry I didn't put on the AFTER version..I'm out enjoying the sun now...much more later...DHQ

I have the same problem. And I can’t open the top now. How were you able to take off the panel that is covering the motor? Hope you can help me out. It’ll be greatly appreciated.

Is that the reason why it makes that clicking noise and it won’t open up

How did you get the top to open. Mine makes the clicking noise about 8” in to opening. I changes the gears and it still won’t open all the way
