It’s just so exciting to see a car restored properly . For me it’s better than hot rod
too bad they started out with a pontiac and at the end it was an oldsmobile
How did we go from a 2DHT Pontiac to a 4D sedan Oldsmobile?
That was going to be my question too. Did the guy seriously think we wouldn't notice? I feel cheated!
l had the same thought...liked
the pontiac, was not a fan of
the music tho....
@@herrunsinn774 : I guess it's the magic of restoration !! 🤣
Yeah ! I sat through the show and then … what?
The old sleight of hand, nothing up my sleeves, a little smoke & mirrors, hit that subscribe button, voila, blew it right past you, right?
My dad had a 57 Buick, we painted it and it turned into a 63 Chevy
lol
It's a pleasure to see the work you put into this car all yourself. You prove the point against this patina crap which is bull, you are my hero.
Must be the rare Pontiac/Oldsmobile conversion. No low ball offers for this rarity.

Great project. Just found your channel. What engine did you end up with?

Black elegant & totally DIVINE! I love this relic from Pres. Eisenhower's time in the White House!
So, it grew two doors and became an Oldsmobile? That's quite the transformation!
lol
That's unbelievable how you guys can fix this old automobile congratulations
Cool how you changed a Pontiac into an Oldsmobile, LOL. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the video. My neighbor had a four door version of that Pontiac when I was a young kid some 60+ years ago.
I love this Pontiac’s so classic, I had a 47 Pontiac chief original 8 flathead colum shifter, very especial cars for their time, when cars were real, not the plastic junk now days. Nice video Jazz and Pontiac’s restoration.
Thank you @Antonio
This was totally fantastic and it was back to life again... Cheers!
Thank you =)
love seeing the old cars come back to new.i had a 1953 pontiac in 1955.loved that car.thank you.
You all did a fine job bringing back history. I remember seeing movies with this year model pontiac. It was built one year after I was born. Wow! Nice job. Keep up the good work.
Is the car for sale?
Wow, a friend of mine back in high school '81 had a Catalina, I had no idea they made them in the 50s.
Wow. Like the original paint color but that is what I remember from childhood that Mom had. Amazing job.
I thought the Pintiac was looking pretty good, my what a transformation into a black Olds Just Beautiful!!!!! Good work darlin's !!!!!!! Can you do my car next!!!!!
Wait a minute I'm confused did I miss something? the green car you were restoring at the beginning of the video was the 52 Pontiac, but the last part of the video at the end the car on the trailer you have a black Oldsmobile four-door. I don't know what that's all about but that's not the same car that was restored 🤔
I was wondering the same thing....must be magic
Didn't the pontiac have a straight 8 that l wanted to see built?
I think every frame was worth a thousand words each, that was the best restore I've ever seen in my life, super job 👍🇺🇸 45 years rebuilding automatic transmissions I've seen junk and I've never seen such a video and nice music 🎶🎵 also 🇺🇸👍. PS. STRATE 8 RULES 🔧
Enjoyed this video very much and how good the bodymen were to change this 1952 Pontiac into a very nice looking Olds that is a 4 door. These people are good. Some mistake was made somewhere in editing But you have a very interesting channel.
Thank you!
what are the mistake in editing? please tell us so that we can remove these mistake in the future videos. Thanks
@@GarageAuto I just mentioned the editing because of cars being switched. You guy do a great job and I will always be watching.
@@garymccord4277 yes true, it was a mistake. Thanks =)
I really wanted to see the Pontiac Catalina restored. I had one exactly like it, even the same color, and I loved it!
I like that beautiful Pontiac.Sign Canada
Wow, you restored it so well it decided to come back as an Oldsmobile....
Great job!!!!! I just would like to see the real after....and heard the sound of it´s engine!! Congrats!!!
thanks
Great video!! Thanks 😊

Great work beautiful car
Love your channel!!
Thank you for a more soothing sound
Thanks =)
Enjoyed it all the way through until the wrong car came up as the 'after'.
Hope there's a followup video to show the Pontiac finished please?
I want to see the 1952 Catalina PLEASE !!!!
Nice car. Good job. I once had a 1973 Pontiac Catalina.
Very solid and complete car!
Thank you
😍 Wow !! an incredible job, you have revived a beautiful car!
That’s not even the same car the car they started with is a two door and the one they ended up with is a four-door complete different model
This is going to be awesome can't wait
Paul here. Love the body style, and the attention to detail. Should be amazing when finished.
Fantastic
Love the music, and the car came out great
Great Job !
Great job
G r e a t job!
Thank you!!
@@GarageAuto You're welcome! Your job inspired me to clean my car more than ever!
Love the old hardtop really will be a nice cruiser👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks =)
Now that looks badass
🤣🤣🤣You guys are wizards- you start with a 2 door coupe and end with a 4 door limousine...
Am I missing something? You were restoring a beautiful '52 Pontiac.....but the it turned into an Oldsmobile '98....😀
Car looks beautifully awesome. You guys did a fantastic job. If you can get its original rims and caps that would certainly be a plus.
Super great
Is amazing the transformation form a two door green Pontiac Coupe 1952 to an Oldsmobile four door black!! There is something that not Mach!!! Hahahaha
wish it was mine beautiful job
very good

I would love to find one. When I was very young, my dad had one.

Hey Wally, lets give Beav the business!
Im confused?? The car you show at the end isnt even the same car?
Maybe you can redo the video and show the finished Pontiac instead of the Oldsmobile.

That's not the '52 Pont. first pictured.. at the end it's a '53 Olds!
Just curious how many years it sat in that barn all forlorn! Thanks for showing it!
it's probably still sitting half finished in a barn somewhere. the OP keeps avoiding the question of where's the pontiac?
Why no videos of the completed project? Doesn't look like it's on this channel. Lots of people start these projects-few seem to ever be completed!
Wow, this must have been the original transformer car.
the pontiac turned into an olds :)
the 5 chrome bars down the middle of the hood seems like a feature which would have been worth keeping...just for Pontiac sake
The final engine compartment pic doesn't look like the orig pontiac. Just looks like a different car with an olds gold engine instead of a long 8 pontiac motor. But looks great in Black !
What's with the change from a Pontiac to an Oldsmobile? I would have preferred to see the finished product of the Pontiac.
You turned the Pontiac into an Oldsmobile ? I'm confused. Where's the two tone Pontiac ? ???
I have my grandfathers' 1954 Pontiac Starchief that has sat in a garage for decades. We got it running, still cleaning up. Is there a way to save rusted rear leaf springs?? The car isn't level in the rear. Thanks. Your video is great!!
thanks!!
I wanted to waste some time so i watched this hate the music and these are two diff cars well done pal.
looks like it started out as a pontiac and ended up an Olds
Good
Thanks
Cost to restore a car like that one?. thank you.
Did you turn the Pontiac into an Oldsmobile?
Different car at the end. What happened to the pontiac
But what about the Pontiac
Dry ice all over the horrible undercoat makes it massively easier to remove
Good job transforming a Pontiac into an Oldsmobile ??
Run out of money for the Pontiac?
you started with a 52 Pontiac Chieftain 2dr coupe and ended up with a 53 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight sedan? ok.
Although I like car videos its hard to believe that anyone abandoned this car and what the heck from 2 dr to 4.....hmmmm
Guess I used the wrong paint.... painted my 53 4 door chieftain and it still looks like a 53 4 door chieftain .......
Super rare straight / V eight! WTF!
Your finished car is a olds?
Two different cars...what was that???
Drive video?
It's a Oldsmobile 98.Not Pontiac Catalina.
suspicious end result !
Where are the photos of the finished car???? long video with no results.
the final photos is an oldsmobile not a pontiac wtf !
Sell or auction this on Ebay or Kijiji for big dollars since you fully restored.
Switch cars or are my lenses scresed up.? I liked the tedious resto cleaning on the first car.
big ponchito
I think someone screwed up..... I loved the two door Pontiac.... but unless you had some great body sculpting, it was miraculous that the 2 door Pontiac turned into a 4 door Olds! 😆
Car guys sort of notice those things.... for some odd reason.....
this project was to rebuild and change the pontiac into a 4 doors
@@GarageAuto yeah.... I’m sure it was, everybody converts two door cars to four door cars daily..... 🤦♂️
@@torekristoffersen176 that's what the builder said. please check the project source in the description
Screwed-up. I take the like & 'scribe back. Not the endingI wanted to see..........===++++
All of a sudden it was an Oldsmobile. I mean Really Raymond! So wanted to see the old Pontiac hard top coupe with her straight 8 flat head and I’m assuming a GM 2 speed Power-Glide to shine like the jewel of road that she once was. Although I do like Oldsmobile a lot it was disappointing to see it popping up in place of the finished Pontiac.
"Hummmmm..." 🤔
Wow you guys are good you turn a Pontiac in to an Oldsmobile, disappointed.
Beautiful job, but it just doesn't look right in that black.........needs the green colors to say it is a Pontiac. ........please try to keep restored cars close to original colors outside and inside with the upholstery....example.....a black 63 chevy belair would just have the same appeal or look as the red one did.
They are two different cars.
Why??????
What you mean?🤔
Uhhh…im really confused..
Não é o mesmo carro.
