  • As a wing attack, it's important that you are able to feed the shooters in the circle easily. This means getting yourself in a. good position to pass them the ball without the interference of defenders. That's where the circle edge comes in.
    A WA should always look to drive to the circle edge after the centre pass, getting their feet close to the line and fully turning to look in for the pass.
    This session is a great one to practice with your C so you can get used to eachother’s movements and start to feed successfully from the circle edge.
    Complete each movement for 40s x 5
    Movement 1 - Drive to pocket
    - Drive over the line
    - Clear to pocket for ball on circle edge
    Movement 2 - Circle edge movement to support at the top
    - Drive over the line
    - Reverse turn and drive straight to top of circle
    Movement 3 - Pocket clear and top drive
    - Drive over the line
    - Clear to pocket
    - 'Cut' defender for ball at top of circle
    Movement 4 - Two passes
    - Drive over the line
    - Combine movements 1-3
    - Reset the ball and receive second pass on opposite circle edge
