- Looking for a ULTRA WIDE Lens for Canon RF-S Mount? They are few and far between. Until Canon comes out with an ultra wide rf-s lens we have to adapt EF or go with manual 3rd party ultra wide lenses. Which one is best?

Another good review. I bought the 10-18 a couple of weeks ago and compared it with my RF 16mm on my R6. Very interesting.
This channel is so underrated
I appreciate hearing that. Thank you for watching!
Great Video. The two lenses are so different you could easily make the case for keeping both if r7 or r10 was your main camera. The canon 10-18mm is great except for the plastic mount.
Other good choises for aps-c are sigma 8-16mm, sigma 10-20mm f3.5, and rokinon 10mm f2.8.
Meike 10mm RF is also excellent, f2.0 and well controlled distortion.
Thanks! 9mm is very wide even on CF. I have the 10-22 EF and quite happy with it on the R7. How about a 0.71x speedbooster on a 16-35?
I will say, that Nisi will force you to think. Wide angle requires thought
Awesome video ! Are you using the canon rf adapter or an other one ?
Canon adapter but I do have meike one too.
Many thanks

Nice review, i have the Canon EF 16-35mm f4 IS and is my favourite video lens on my Canon R6 mk II.
Great quality and I use also the crop mode 4k so I have a 16 to 56mm stabilised IS f4 lens on my camera.
greetings from Delft , Holland.
That was my first ultrawide lens and loved it. The sun stars around f8 are amazing. I can't believe I forgot to mention that as an option. Great lens!
I do have to say that I've been pretty happy with my 24-105 ƒ4 and that I wouldn't have to think very hard about considering either the 14-35mm ƒ4 or the 70-200 ƒ4. The ƒ2.8 glass is very expensive, but the sharpness and contrast of the ƒ4 L series lenses seems to hold up really well, particularly when used wide open. I am curious about the 15-30mm ƒ4.5-6.3 and I've had great experiences with the 100-400 ƒ5.6-8, I just know that the L series glass tends to be faster and sharper, but you pay a price for it.
@@IllusionInfusion the 70-200 f4 rf is worth it. I love mine. I may have to test the 15-30
Which Ultra Wide do you want for your APS-C Canon Camera?
So it's the lenses that do the stabilization and auto focus??? I was the guy looking at the R50 to video new build and model homes for real estate but you do have me looking at the R7. I would want a lens that definitely does not do fisheye or make 36" fridges look 8 ft wide =O
Looks like when you buy the camera you have a choice of lenses. What lens would you recommend for me, the 10-18mm, I do the 1920 x 1080 wide, my wife will continue on her phone with the portrait for Shorts.
I guess I was thinking the camera comes with a fixed lens if that even exists I have to ask myself now. I did take a photography class at the college but like about 1980 =O
Just did not want to learn yet another career field after wrapping up 21 yrs of building pools but maybe I do.
Canon R7 is an interchangeable lens camera. These lenses are great for real estate but anytime a subject is near the edge of frame this wide it will look stretched. Hence fridge stretching.
I just bought the canon for 99€ new on clearance.
Hello friend! Thx for your test.
You would love to buy this nisi 9mm 2.8 for my r7, can you test indoor please?
Need this for real estate video!
I had indoor test on the full frame R6 II and it was very distorted for that focal length. Probably be ok with the R7, but if you are looking at doing real estate you will want a zoom for versatility. Look at the new 10-18 RF that gets released next week. I have one coming and I will be doing tests with it.
do you have a ny sample using the nisi 9mm for real estate
I don’t. It was decent but I prefer the canon 10-18 RF-s for its versatility in real estate.
do you still using this lens, the nisi? still recommended ? Better than the laowa 9mm?
@@MelvinDlaCruz I don’t use it anymore, but I do recommend it as a prime option. I’m using the canon 10-18mm ref-s instead because abuse of the autofocus and zoom.
@@JaredHoyman thanks, can you do a compare nisi9 mm vs laowa 9mm, vs sony 11?
Hey man, promo code doesn’t work
For 50mm 1.8 rf?
@@JaredHoyman yes
@@JaredHoyman says “You've entered an invalid promo code”
@RenatovanzellaFilho the sale may be over. It was bringing price down to $99. Make sure it's b&h link.
@@JaredHoyman yeah I clicked your link
Thanks man
nisi is $459. are you on drugs man...where is it 185????
Did you even look at the thumbnail? It’s labeled $459. It’s the one on the left.
BS...comparing metal over plastic. ?
typically American. The Canon wins over aftermarket crap.
this is why i shoot with sony; no problem with lenses. canon is garbage.
