Leonid is a serious music producer and a brilliant composer and arrangements and instrumentation.
There is a "Behind The Music" video available on YT that gives the story of the magnificent band and all the people involved in it's success.
Leonid started the band after retiring as a famous Russian producer. He wanted to record one of his favourite Chicago songs as a retirement present for himself. Chicago heard the cover, liked it and added it to their own website. Things took off and there were many requests for other covers. Now eight years later the band tours the US twice a year to sellout shows and occasionally visits other places too.
Ksenia is a talented singer and pianist who is very popular in Russia and a big star in China. She is fluent in a few languages singing in Russian, Mandarin and English.
Ksenia speaks 8 languages and is a virtuoso pianist.
Absolutely love this band and song. Funkiest 5/4 groove I've heard in a while. And what's not to love about Ksenia and her beautiful voice.
The throat singer also moonlights at Sardaukar ceremonies.
Seriously, the conductor comes from the Bolshoi, no less. Listen to 'Ain't nobody', 'My old school'..the list goes on

You should try their version of Superstar by the Carpenters. It's amazing.

Don't stop here. Leonid and Friends have been called the very best cover band in the world. Chicago, Earth Wind and Fire, Steely Dan. Spec of Dust is their original. Once you get going you can't stop
