- I’m converting my VW CADDY MAXI LIFE into a camper van. In this video, I tackle the Worktop, sink and tap. It DOSENT START WELL.
From cutting a complex profile, dealing with a complex layout, and trying to find skills I just don’t have. The Project is full of risk. And If I can do this you can.
I'm a passionate Landscape photographer and this van is my ticket to bigger adventures, allowing me to travel further from home, a shelter from the unpredictable English weather.

Looks good with the 20*20. Can you share the supplier name? Where did you manage to secure the sink, always a bug bear of mine is finding the right size sink
I have added an affiliate to the Sink on Amazon. I have also added a non affiliate links to the profile supplier I used hope this helps.
@@BrianNorthmorePhotography cheers Brian, time to put plan together and see what costs involved but aluminium profile is the way to go.
Would you also Show a Series of pictures of the conversion please?
Hi Chris. Maybe I could put something together when I do the full Van Tour. No promises though Chris, as I would have to take these from video stills anyway. If there is anything specific you want more info on I will try and help if I can.
@@BrianNorthmorePhotography i only would like to have an overview / a roomtour to see Where all stuff found its Place
@@christianalms5387 that’s the idea it will be a few weeks probably. Waiting for the custom cushions to be manufactured.
Hi Brian, I've been watching the videos with interest as I'm about to start on a similar project. I note you are going sown the power station route but just wondering what you are planning to do with regard to lighting? Or is that the subject of a future video?
Hi Peter,
Well it will be the subject of a future video. But I don’t mind sharing my thoughts.
I have a few rechargeable LED camping lights that I have used in the tent, I think a couple of these will work well hung up in the corners of the van. A full charge lasts me about a week and can be charged from the power station / 12v socket whilst in driving. I may also run some LED’s from a USB socket or 240v on the power station. Just got to decide exactly what power station to go for, that will need to be another video - as I’m not sure yet! Hope this helps and good luck with your project. My next video is a bit delayed but have been working on the van all day.
@@BrianNorthmorePhotography Thanks Brian, LED lighting is the way I 'm thinking of going. I'll look out for your video.
