Love the idea with the lanyard! Not sure if I'd put insulation wool into the doors though, as they are supposed to get rid of water and therefore have little holes in them that could be clogged.

That will become rusty as time moves on. Insulation needs to be placed outside like on a house.

Laugh my bollox off when peeps do all this shit to a Vw , I been camping ,Vw for years,that’s all you need is a good sleeping bag ,tent or van , bullshit
Hi Neil If that’s what works for you then that’s brilliant, however I’m taking this van over to Europe for 2 months over the winter so making it as comfortable as possible while still adding value to the van just made sense for my situation (with the possibility of also going full time in the near the future too) why wouldn’t I do it??
