5 Goalkeeper Glove Hacks : Make Your Gloves Last LONGER!

Welcome back to ARS GK and after seeing all these wack glove hack videos circulating around youtube I thought it was time to really show what simple every day hacks or tips you can do to make your goalkeeper gloves remain stickier longer and last you the whole season if not more!
First don't believe the hype, there isn't a secret to making your gloves amazing all you need to do is take good care of them and proper goalkeeper glove care is very simple and even more effective at making your gloves last longer than any spray or glove wash.
the steps are simple
1. PREWASH!
Get all those nasty chemicals and dirt off and out of the latex get them a little damp and ready to go
2. PROPER DIVING TECHNIQUE AND RECOVER TECH!(GETTING UP)
Don't smack your palms against the ground or try to tie your shoes with your gloves on, be smart take care of the sensitive palm and use your KNUCKLES to get up!
3. WASH YOUR GLOVES EVERY TWO WEEKS AT LEAST!
This is the best thing you can do to make any glove last longer!
4. STORE WET GLOVES IN A TOWEL AWAY FROM HUMID AND DIRECT LIGHT!
We want the wet gloves to get good not dry out or become mushroom farms
5. PROPER STORAGE WHEN NOT IN USE
Simple, put your gloves in a glove bag that will protect them from all the loose dirt and impurities that can tear or dirty your palms.
There you have it, all simple and free!

Sadly in the starting 11 there is only 1 gk with 10 outfield players so it is normal that the best gk channel has less subs than a channel who uploads about the football as a whole

Another tip is making your gloves face apart in a glove wallet so that the friction from both of them moving around does not destroy the both of them

Thanks for he tips I’ve always wondered why my gloves always Tour from pushing myself after making a save just wondering Alberto did you do a review on the adidas predators pro blue and white colour way I was thinking on buying them but I had a pair of them only in a different colour way and the punch zone kept on falling off is that because of my diving technique or would it just be from using the glove a lot
James McBennett honestly could be both the mine would like tear off cause I would get up with my fist a lot or when u dive some how the punching zone gets touched too but I don’t think the punching zone should matter that much as long as u can still punch it good and do other things that still perform good

When i first started playing football goalkeeper gloves were just normal gloves with bits of plastic sewn into the palms😂
Latex ones existed but they were really expensive especially for a kid that had to get theyr parents to buy them when they had 3 other kids . they werent that into spending £40/50 on what they called “daft gloves”. When i did get my first latex gloves there was three main companies that were the best…reusch who invented the latex palm keeper glove and uhlsport and sondico. All did great gloves and i really liked all those brands. They all made good and cool looking gloves. Expensive though .especially when you played on gravel like we had to they got fucked up pretty fast.at It no point did we have big piles of gloves like this fella did.i woulda loved having so many gloves to choose from. Theres expensive gloves these days but theres good gloves pretty cheap these days from loads of different companies

@@mechanicalturkproductions7349 well I eventually wore padded goalkeeper pants but before that I wore shorts and after every game your knees, side of your thigh and elbows were all skinned and covered in blood. Even with the padded keeper pants you got cut often.
A game on grass was a treat for us.😂

I mean best thing you do is have one old glove for training and one new for games, when the old one is too bad already and new is getting old and ripped just buy a new one for match and use the old match one for training, thank you have a nice day

wash your gloves once a week, and yes it is preferred to wash your brand new gloves with water like he did at the beginning of the video

Michael Milicic keep your head up it’s not always the goalkeepers fault you play your heart out. Not all goals are the keepers fault remember they have to get through 10 players before they get to the goalkeeper

use a toothbrush for that, remember be very gentle cuz you could tear the latex if you're not careful enough

Swoold I recomend Nike mercurial touch victorys because they are cheaper and the grip is insane plus this fingers are spread apart wich is nice except you can feel some stitching in the ring and middle finger parts but overall they are amazing gloves

For 6:20 I have plastic I my fingertips so I’m not sure if it will work
I train on Wednesday and Saturday so when I train on Wednesday should I wash my gloves after Wednesday and then after Saturday should I wash them again
wash them whenever you notice that there's too much dirt or it's starting to look old and raggedy, i would say wash them on Sunday every single week

It might make your grip give out a little quicker but i know keepers who did the same, hated dirty gloves
