As a fan of The Adventure of Dai. The game is somewhat decently accurate, but it doesn’t tell the full story of the manga. I believe it only goes up to the Baran arc of the manga and then just ends, when the manga has about 2 or 3 (maybe 4) story arcs after that.
it ends when Dai has obtained his sword and cut the Giant Gollem Castle. afterwards it has a secret reference to the next arc in the temple of recollections (i think that's what it's called)
I also liked this game it certainly is not an 10 out of 10 game but it certainly fun in terms of story and playable characters. While i am aware of that many people say its an bad game that doesn't bother me since you need to play it yourself before you either think they are right or you do enjoy it.
Yes I can see the hesitation to grab it at $60 but I think it’s worth it and anything less is a definite pickup.

Challenge mode is crazy once you beat the game... shiit Im getting really good at playing different characters now. Also good review. Learning Pop and the martial artist girl is amazing! I didnt even realize you have hidden attacks.. like during your 3 hit combo the weapon glows... if you time the button press its another attack. each char has one
The combat is a bit more in depth than I think reviewers were willing to go 😅😅
I guess I’ll give it a try. It’s on sale now. You should consider Dragon Quest 11. It’s fantastic.

I'm new to your channel. I like that you don't use numbers and treat a review like you're my friend. Being a 7 or even a 4 or 5 is fine as long as I enjoyed it. I am looking at grabbing this on a sale.
Man so I love this game. Ive done the main story and even the whole challenge mode. I think they need to patch in some kinda auto save on the temple. Its the last thing I need to do to complete the game and twice now ive gotten to around 15 or 16 out of the 21 floors and the things crashed on me. Absolutely devastating. Outside of that tho its been super fun and I love the game and the anime.
Also a side note but Im more than surprised they made an english dub just for this game when the anime doesn't have one. Hell theres anime games that come out here that do have dubs for their anime but only have japanese in the game. I'm not usually a dub or sub elitist btw. But the sub is far better on this one lol.
I thought the dub did a great job! They could've branched out into more Voice Actors tho. It was the same handful *sigh*

Probably because it’s a PowerPoint presentation instead of an actual game. That’s cool if you like it, but the game isn’t good and is really disappointing

I feel Square Enix has really gotten away from the Turn Based Style of Games. In Final Fantasy 16 the combos were repetitive but not sure if this is bc these developers may be rushed into coming out with these games.
Forspoken was NOT a good game lol
I've been enjoying it. Gameplay is fun, story is fine, world is big but not too empty, always something not too far away.
I feel Square Enix has really gotten away from the Turn Based Style of Games. In Final Fantasy 16 the combos were repetitive but not sure if this is bc these developers may be rushed into coming out with these games.
After playing games like Bayo 3 and others it was clear they didn’t commit to the action or RPG parts in FFXVI as much as they had hyped it. Fun game but yeah Square needs a better combat dev team like Bandai has
