#China #SouthAmerica #Peru
How arrogant do you have to be think Peru is "America's backyard?"
If arrogance and ignorance are the benchmark of happines, i think the US must be the happiest bunch of person on earth.
so unlucky to be near your backyard , nothing .....
The backyard is still considered your property, Peru is an independent country like Mexico therefore it is not America's backyard, neither is Mexico.
South America is right below North America, that’s why
I guess Canada is the front yard of USA 😂
America's Backyard?
The backyard is still considered your property, Peru is an independent country like Mexico therefore it is not America's backyard, neither is Mexico.
And what is America doing to improve the world?
Really? China is “helping “ the world? Undeniably it sees opportunities overseas.
Military bases and 100 billion to Israel and Ukraine 😂😂😂
you think China does this "to improve the world"?
@@WaldoTheWombat Yes, they know they will be better off when the world gets better.
@@joey3291 oh they'll be better off alright
China builds infrastructure (roads, railroads, ports, airports, etc.,) all over the world which benefits the people in those countries, the US on the other hand builds bases for its air force and navy, not much else which doesn't benefit the population at large, only the US's own interests. Every nation has the right to choose who invests in their country, and who they want to have trade relations with, even if it's in Latin America (by the way, is not the US's backyard, that term is insulting to the sovereignty/independence of those countries, since no one gave the US government any rights over Latin America).
The problem is that infrastructure is owned and controlled by only China
😂😂😂china poor workmanship will show up eventually 😂😂
@@user-cl1wv9bn8o Not as poor as your mentality.😂😂😂😂😂
Then why don't the US do it then?@@user-cl1wv9bn8o
Why should China build it or the USA, lol why can't Peru invest and build it, people of Peru my axx. Truth is your leaders are paid off, this will only benefit the elites of Peru who are corrupt
Welcome to chinese investments! My country really needed it! 🇨🇳❤🇵🇪
The electric grid of a country should be controlled and serviced by it and not at the risk of being controlled by any foreign country

The CIA ain't happy
I just love how the US portray China?
Hahahaha, typical reporters nowadays. Leading questions with inherent bias, cutting off people's responses because they don't align with the message they are trying to portray... What's new?
At least I see Chinese companies working while American journalists talk nonsense here
Peru is still very far away from the USA, unlike the US's military presence in the South China Sea and nuclear weaponry in S Korea and Japan. So why is the US so worked up?
this isn't about military. You do realize that many countries derive their strength from economic power....right?? Stay in school..... sport
If USA and China ever go to war, and chinese war ships dock in Chancay, hay papa. It will be disaster. China's 60% ownership could give say to.chinese navy to dock in Chancay in desperate times.
As an American, I say we should have invested in Peru and the rest of South America much more vigorously. The lean towards populism in the U.S. and the “America First” movement has lead to a lethargy of development in the Americas.
Oh by the way backyard is just a figure of speech , the United States is also in Peru’s back yard….. just means we are close geographically …. Perhaps poor choice of words. Sorry.
good job, nbc, you made me laugh. yeah, windows having dust is a big big big problem😂😂😂
The backyard is still considered your property, Peru is an independent country like Mexico therefore it is not America's backyard, neither is Mexico.
So very true they are investing so in the Caribbean including my home country Barbados 🇧🇧
China please come to Colombia and build roads!! We love you
congrat china and peru
i am peruvian💞 i can picture chinese and russian military ships passing through , wonderful , beautiful , for latinos if china and russia protect us it is kind of a better world , buen dia mis amiguitos potito blanco : 3 💯💯
I'm a peruvian American. You don't know what you are talking about. Go read about the Uyghurs in east China so you learn how they are mistreated.
lies lol American propaganda now look at what's happening in Garza@@pepea2610
@@pepea2610 What is the US doing for Peru, nothing... it has only built its military bases to protect us from drug traffickers and practice its authoritarian socialist foreign policy.
while China invests in countries where it has bridges, roads, schools, ports, etc. Despite having a communist policy in China, abroad China's policy is very capitalist and does not take advantage like the United States.
That is fake news.

Usa never ever tried any business with peru but now is time to get involved for the next south american power cause brasil has the same line.... same people in china....so... It is up to usa
Peru is not American backyard. Peru is the birth of America
We are open to new investors as long as every country gets what they are looking for
America Backyard ? Such a Stup..d. . call better SOUTH AMERICA ..
Hemisphere 😂
PERU HAS STRATEGIC SOUTH AMERICAN LOCATION TO EITHER LIFT OR BLOCK ASIA, THE U.S., IS MISSING A KEY OPPORTUNITY HERE AND GAIN THAT PARTNERSHIP WITH PERU.
🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳👍👏👏👏👏
GOOD because all america does is take take yake and gives Coups.
America's Back Yard?
Stimulating kool aid.
Mmmm
wait and see for further....😮
Its a private investment though, Peruvian government is not involved in this at all, only as supervisors, the other 40% is owned by private Peruvian/Swiss capital.
Even if the Peruvian government was involved, why would that matter? Don't they have the right to do business with whomever they want?
fuhhhh...
😂😂 china poor workmanship will show up eventually 😂😂
You mean like their high speed rail? Show up what? How reliable it is?
what? countries are actually happy
ok, we prefer the bad hand of China that builds bridges, roads, ports, technology that benefits the country in which it invests... on the other hand, the US only serves to build its military bases and to carry out its authoritarian foreign policy.... The United States is a country that will soon fall from the abyss due to its inept politics.
I forgot... today China is vastly superior to the US in technology and infrastructure. In a few years, China will vastly surpass the US in everything.
Republicans trumps fault
USA must invest more in South America & Africa
That ship has sailed....
USA can't even repair its own infrastructure
@@supatooxtukey6485 Nah they can always invest. The problem is that the US wants South America and Africa to stay underdeveloped to ease US domination over them and safeguard US hegemony so competing with China in helping development in South America and Africa are against US geo politics. The most likely US action is not investment in development, but funding terror groups and sowing chaos and violence.
