Did we miss anything out? Is there anything else you think the average cyclists can learn from the pros? 🤔
Prep seems like a good idea - unless you're a skinny danish guy that almost dies, uses two months to recover and then wins Stage 11 :D :D
@@kimpedersen We think it looks like Jonas has nailed his prep 🤯
6) Do not get caught with secret motors in your bike.
Body weight
People I know are insulted. By the words. Body , weight, thin, fat, muscle, etc. So sad when we build a trap we can’t escape from !
I very much doubt I can learn the fine art of weighing 60 kilos and pushing 7 watts per kilo tho…😂
I'd say, knowing your body and strengths is key. Knowing how hard and for how long you can go gets you to the finish on a empty tank, but not in the middle of the final climb or lap.
some masterful multitasking ... im outta breath just watching
Hahahah Hank has that effect on people 😉
Great to see you both before my morning ride before work and your on a mountain!
We hope you enjoy the ride to work 🙌
Beautiful scenery😊
Pretty special right!😊
Geraint and Primoz might want to check out number 5
Oooof shots fired! 👀
First thing to learn from TdF - find some brilliant scenery.
Pogicar is on something … end of hope for the sake of the sport I m wrong but his dominance seems to good to be true
Another Lance Armstrong
Please do a video series on how to know when a carbon road bike is reaching the end of its lifespan.
how many miles can one expect? How do you avoid throwing good money after bad?
I’ll have to re-watch this I was too busy looking at the scenery to hear what you said 😂
As was I! To appreciate where you ride and the environment around you overrides a crazy record breaking day for me any day!
The French Alps is incredible
Many of these tips are applicable to accomplishment in any area that we perdue. Of course bike handling is specific, but every particular sport or avocation has a certain expertise focus. In my area of work patients who are motivated to persevere with strong family and friend support aligned with therapists who are knowledgeable and skilled usually make the most gains in overcoming disability. Thank you for your motivational videos and content.
Loving Hanks beautiful Pinarello 👌
We're very lucky to have them as a partner! Hank's bike is beautiful 👌
@@gcn That's a fact!
To be fair, Manon's Orbea ain't bad-looking either! Love the pale lilac 😍
Go Jonas!!!
Hi guys, maybe you can do some video on pre-race stress? I'm quite a successful amateur racer in Poland, hitting some podiums every so often, but every time I have some event coming up, I feel extremely stressed at least a day before and it lasts until the start of the race itself. Actually, since I started finishing in top 3 places, it's become even worse, as I always have expectations to replicate such goods results now. I'm aware that the best I can do is to go to a psychologist, but maybe you've got some tips on how to decrease this race anxiety? Love Ya, Wojciech.
2:45 That shot 🔥
And what is Manon doing climbing a mountain?!
I was very out of my comfort zone and it didn't help that Hank half wheeled me the entire way up.
Manon
Cavendish may have been bluffing his competitors by 'throwing up' and ' heat exhaustion'. Thoughts?
That would be commitment to bluffing
PRO PORMA!
The third rail. Body comp
Yeah. Not a physique I'm after.
Not beefy enough for ya?
physics, science that deals with the structure of matter and the interactions between the fundamental constituents of the observable universe. In the broadest sense, physics (from the Greek physikos) is concerned with all aspects of nature on both the macroscopic and submicroscopic levels.

Nah.....the heroin chic fashion is so 90's.
Ya ever see a three hundred pound jockey ? 😂
The constant strive for improvement through technology & innovation. Every gain is worth it, at any level.
Marginal gains really do work 🙌
What kind of drills can I do to improve bike handling?
We have some video on our channel to help with handling skills- check this one out czcams.com/video/aVwO6KYXLjo/video.html
You said that Tour de France is the toughest race. What do you say about La Vuleta de Espagna and Giro d'Italia compared to Tour de France? I have seen both and both are as tough as Tour de France with many mountain stages. F find Giro d'Italia more interesting to watch because of the many mountain stages and also La vuelta. Tour de France has many flat stages and I find the flat stages boring because the interesting oubreaks and the things in the mountains are much more frequent than the flat stages.
The terrain is harder at both the Giro and especially the Vuelta, that's true.
But the riders also make the race. And because the Tour is the most prestigious race out of the 3, the peloton is at a level higher and race harder than at the other races.
@@andrasszabo1570 And the media frenzy adds to the stress at the Tour.
Le Tour is just more popular, however, I agree: all three Grand Tours need to be appreciated!
C’mon guys - you are the biggest cycling channel on YT, clean your camera sensors!!!!
...taking one arm off your handlebar while going downhill😬😬😬
Its Physics If its not necessary to propel the bike its luggage. Sorry about 😮
Thanks Manon , JLW , and crew....yeah , a thousand "wow" s there , eh ? Be safe , wear gloves .
Amazing scenery! Isn't it cool how anyone can ride on the same roads as the pros 🤯
@@gcn it is. Hard not to rubberneck !
@@cb6866 Have you spotted any pros out on the road?
I have , CX pros live nearby
giro is waaayy harder
...and waaay less competitive.
🩸 💉 💪
Bike handling? Really? Most Tour riders are pretty average skills wise......Look at all the crashes......(Some like Pidcock, MvdP have an off-road background, so are the outliers)
If you want to improve your bike handling, get riding off-road.....
pathetic
I see you just signed your name in a post?
Manon cant even say Pros and she is gonna tell us what we can learn🤣🤣 sorry i had to im bit of a Di.....🙏🙏🥰
