I am waiting, I am living in my car with my dog, I am tired but grateful, distressed but not abandoned, isolated but not alone, dealing with constant unknowns and lack of stability, my only stability is in Christ alone. I am trusting God to provide a job and housing for me and my dog. I have been working and waiting for the past 4 months in southwest Florida.

I am doing OK, God is my strength and will pull me through. Being in the vehicle has been teaching me total dependence on him alone. The summer will be over soon and I am learning to get in my Bible everyday, and praise.him and thank him in all circumstances not just the comfortable easy parts of life.

All I can say is WAITING IS HARD! but His timing is not GOOD it is PERFECT
This is definitely the hardest season of my life. There's nobody I can really talk to except for God. The only thing I've learned so far is next to trusting Him, also trusting His love for me, if that makes sense....

Yeah. It better to really focusing on getting to know the Lord during this season, and getting to know yourself in Jesus name. Be blessed, strong, bold, and courageous in the Lord. Put all of your time, energy, and effort into loving Jesus and self. And to focus on doing what God called, chose, and created you to do in Jesus name. And if it's God's will, He will send someone your direction at the appointed time in Jesus name. Ruth was working in the field when Boaz noticed her. She wasn't worrying about meeting a man per se. I went through 25 years of steep involvement in the new age/occult, experiencing lots of fear and sadness for most of my life...I could never feel free no matter what I did of transformation and healing. I came to Christ 5 years ago and within the last 4 years I have been through the hardest season of my life... worse than anything I had ever experienced while in the occult. I believe however that on this side of the cross, God is taking me through true healing and renewal...a true process of restoration and refinement. I remember he told me early on in my faith that he was going to purify me. Wow, I didn’t realize what that would mean... refinement by fire! Yes there has been intense spiritual warfare since coming out of the enemy’s camp as the enemy doesn’t give up so easily, but whatever process of purification that I am in is the real deal. God is allowing this pained process of going through the muck that I may know who my God is...that I may come to trust him, depend on him, surrender to him and lean only on him... that he may get the glory for being the one true God. The gift of this hard season is that I have seen that Gods good, holy, loving, and faithful character can be trusted. And for that He gets my praise through process and through promise...through wilderness and through wonderment. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Going through the pain, as well, but I'm holding on to and professing the promises of God over my life. Even in the midst of it all, God is STILL good and His mercy will carry us and see us through.

Pain is just temporal, it's just a season. Jesus is close to the broken and contrite spirit. Waiting on Him is the best antidote to mend our pain through His Word- Bible! Pain is a blessing in disguise to come into His very presence than running to the temporal resources that can trigger the pain. God cares for us holistically, that's why He is in a careful process of our destiny. ♥️
Waiting for healing from a devastating illness going on 2 years. I'm also a finisher and to-doer, and to know I can't finish or fix this illness has been so hard for me. It's so hard for me to completely submit to God's plan for my pain and my sickness, especially since I can't leave the house or do very much anymore Thank you for this encouragement Lysa❤

Finding Christian counselors or any counselor is a challenge for sure. I have Tricare insurance and most counselors do not accept it or are on a share/sliding scale system that is just too expensive.
I’ve looked in Christian counselor sites nationally and locally and have found 1 that accepts Tricare. He has a waiting list...in the meantime I am reaching out to other groups, watching your videos with Jim and Joel, which have been immensely helpful!!

How do you find a Christian counselor? At a church? I've often wanted to go but only find clinical counselors, that are so not what I want. I want someone who knows the scripture as well as how to deal with issues. Thanks. ♡

@@BB.halo_heir There's a segment from Pastor Charles Stanley talking about Godly advice and counseling. He said it's best to go to someone who shares the same beliefs as you,I agree. Also know that there's some things only God can heal you from(I know this for a fact).God can make you whole I am living proof of this.Im still going through stuff but God says He will delivery us from all our troubles.Lastly and most of all stay away from non Christian counselling.
I can tell you from personal experience. God helped me and allowed a therapist who was a non Christian therapist to help me for that season of my life.
The only reason why it worked because God ordained that. I wouldn't advice you to go to a non Christian therapist on your own to be honest. Even that therapist told me when my sessions with her ended and I had to find another more permanent therapist she said, *Don't be afraid to leave a therapist if they aren't a right fit*
That therapist was able to help me. However any more time that I spent there would of been a true detriment to my faith. Think of it like this they are helping you put things into perspective. If they are coming from a perspective that isn't of God it can be troubling.
It only worked because she respected my beliefs and only brought up once something truly contrary to my belief set.She was telling me to do guided meditation and also to be honest *trigger warning skip if needed*
she was asking if I wanted to experiment and have sex before marriage with someone I felt comfortable with.She understood this isn't things I want to do and I put a boundary. She never brought it up again.

Choose between,counselors, therapist or a psychologist.
Personally I never been to a counselor but therapists can be very helpful more afforable than psychologists.Psychologists diagnose and also prescribe medications if it is needed.
There are different types of therapy and I strongly advice you to ask God to show you where to begin searching what type is best for you.Also just plain old call and ask the individual who is counselling you "how will it be like and what do I expect if I had a session"
I advice you to call to hear their voice and hear how they treat you and speak to you. Rather than an email if possible.
Types of therapy:There's Cognitive behavioral therapy. That's the one one that fit me best.We delt with the situation with compassion and tried to find solutions. Some have different approaches. Even art therapy aswell ect.

Doesn't condemn you or make you feel like you have to change your whole life.

Compassionate
Doesn't talk more than you
Doesn't make you feel uncomfortable.
Therapy is not easy and somedays are hard but it should feel like a safe place not a warzone.Some days you will fell amazing and it's ok if its not like that.
If you feel uncomfortable with this person P L E A S E leave its not a big deal to them and if anything you can just call them to say so or text that "it wasn't the right fit". They arent friends they are professionals at the end of the day so no hard filling and if anyone is making you feel guilty for any reason, RUN!
I had a horrible therapist one time . I gave her a chance and she bulldozed through all my boundaries.No respect at all. Truly rude and condescending.
Last but not least Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you to people who can help you.Ask God to give u discernment.

I don 't mind waiting on the Lord..."it is good for those who wait upon the Lord" HE knows this about me. But, I am a Frustrated Giver right now and believe I have been put in a position if imposing on the generous hospitality of a young family. They assure me but while I can do anything...I am unable to help them and reciprocate the way I want to. So, it's frustrating to me. Then add to that ad nausea redundant prophecies that are algorithmed to have me get up, expect, watch Ferociously!!! And threaten me (veiled) if I question/criticize the process. What do you think the Lord HIMSELF thinks about this? Because I know what HE's thinking....

After finishing school in 2016 my life just went down career wise. I dont have financial back up. Two years i was at home, 2019 i started a diploma and completed it in 2020 and since then the story has been the same, just at home. 6 years im just at home, i know people told me to do a job etc but im frustrated so much, no one understands this, when u wait u get frustrated to the point that u think doing something without gods prompting will screw everything up. I dont know if im wrong but man im struggling so much. Ive yelled at him and im at the point of breaking 😓😓😓

There's suppose to be power holding and reproducing something that will get you what you are waiting for. The power will immediately heal uncomfortable, while you wait

If you're in a season of waiting, maybe you're still waiting because you're waiting for the wrong thing. It could be you're still waiting because what you want isn't what God wants for you. God has to get you ready for whatever He has for you. It could be what God has for you, He knows you won't like it and He just has to break you down to make you do it. Trusting God doesn't mean you get what you want. You might look at your life and think it sucks, and you might be right. God looks at and thinks it's great. Sometimes you mess up your life and you're just screwed. God doesn't always heal, restore or rescue. What God has for you might not be the dream you think it is. The pleasantness only applies when your best life is in front of you. Take it from me, your tears mean nothing to God.
Joshua, you’ve become skeptical from pain. Focus on the Cross. Think of the woman who bled for 12 years still waiting for healing, or Jacob who worked for 14 yrs to get Rachel or Abraham who waited for 20+ yrs for his promised heir. Joseph who became a slave before seeing his dreams fulfilled. Or David who spent years running for his life and living in caves.
The statement you wrote “Your tears mean nothing to God.” is a lie. Please don’t teach others that untruth. King David said in the Psalms that he knows his tears are collected before God. And also in Revelation we see the prayers of God’s children as sweet smelling incense.

I look at the last 40 years of my life and I tell God that I don't feel like He's done a damn thing for me. When He decided to give me epilepsy and fucked me out of my Military career, but I noticed God had mercy on my wife beating child abusing stepdad. Tell me how that's just. God just hates me. You are not alone to say the wicked live “long peaceful lives” and the righteous suffer. The Psalmist (chap 73) wrote of that but in the end of the Psalm he writes that the end of the evil doers is not peace but for the righteous, despite their pain (like JOB) is PEACE and eternity with God.
Gaze on the Cross, look at Christ who is God in the flesh. The Cross will give you perspective. Peace unto you Joshua♥️♥️

I've been praying for help for over 35 YEARS . Either God doesn't listen or he dont care or he's not real . I don't know but it never helped . Thanks for your intentions but he dont like me .
@@Johndoe-nx1uz there may be something in your life that is hindering this. What have you been waiting for? People don't realize that sin and unforgiveness cause things not to be answered. God wants obedience. I'm not saying that's your case but I know there's people out there that has hindered them.
