Anyone else amazed by how easily she cut it into 5 equal pieces?!
When you work with dough for a while (or any cuttable scoopable product) you get really good at it. I've been a baker, and it just happens. Also I've been a butcher, and same can be said for ground meat - I can scoop within a couple ounces of a pound without thinking about it.

This is like the grown up version of putting chocolate chips inside pillsbury crescent rolls lol when I was a kid, I’d put two more chocolate chips on the outside for eyes and say they were “garden slugs” 🤣

Exactly what I thought the second she had to divide the dough into five equal parts.
Paul would have docked her for underbaking the loaf. He might not have even eaten it at all. It would be mortifying. A digital thermometer makes it easy to know if the loaf is done inside. 190f for most breads that I bake yields an interior that is moist but cooked.

In some other contries, skeins of yarn are just called wool, so I would assume that's what this bread it named after. It does look like a bunch of skeins of yarn together.

I'm a beginner wool spinner (i make my own yarn to knit with!) and this bread looks a lot like something called a "rolag" which is a type of wool fiber preparation you can do to prepare it for spinning! such a beautiful loaf and very aptly named!

I watched three wool roll bread videos this morning, starting with the Apron one that I'd saved a few weeks ago. I'd planned to make it soon and was brushing up. Then this evening I saw your video in my feed, and I know it's fate. I'm going to put roasted garlic and sundried tomatoes with olive oil in mine, even though you so sorely tempted me with chocolate. I agree about the bread smell! My grandma used to make bread every Sunday. She would save some dough and we would do fry bread. 😋😋😋 We actually had to record her making it and make her use measuring cups so we could have the recipe. Her recipe was.... About 12 handfuls of flour, 1/2 a handful of sugar. A pinch of salt. About this much (filled the middle of her palm) of yeast. However much water it takes for be the right consistency. 😂😂😂
I'm going to try this myself alternating each roll with chocolate, peanut butter, anko, Nutella and Bebogeen ( a Dutch caramel spread).
This should be the recipe the heavens sent us to enjoy!
