Andy, I think the conservative strategy is much more important this week, and less risk needs to be taken on than ever when hitting into these greens. With the runoffs and the firmness, the effective green size becomes tiny. There’s only going to a handful pins that guys can go after all week. It kinda gives Scottie and extra advantage since not only is he the best ball striker on the planet, he and Ted make arguably the smartest team on tour.

This is a totally different beast man….I don’t think Scottie stands a chance…the guy who wins here needs to hit a gaentle half yard fade and stop it quickly on the right shelf of the green…I give Tiger a 1% chance of making cut ….a steady Eddie not a bomber who makes loads of birdies wins this….look at the past 3 champions here…enough said.

@@richiechristiejr Why? What did I say that is untrue!!? Youre obviously a Tiger fan….sometimes the truth is not always a pleasant thing….this course is brutal…lets see how wrong I am at the end of this week. Tiger is gone man…live with it…get over it.

I’m curious to see who you think has a chance. Because odds are, whatever you think that player is very good at, Scottie is better than them. You can’t win a major only with a putter, so I will bet on a guy who drives it dead straight, is the best chipper in the world, and is currently gaining more strokes in approach play than any golfer in recent history.
