When are you going to have a podcast about Keegan Bradley being picked as Ryder Cup Captain? The PGA and especially Zach Johnson are trying to stop the blow back from not putting Keegan on the team that he earned to be on.

Scottie has more distance off the tee then his averages. When a whole matches his fade T-shot, he hammers the ball. I’ll watch the broadcast and he’ll have the longest drive on that hole many times. He just plays within himself so often. He never TRIES to do something he just does what he is suppose to do and a lot of times that is not hit as hard as he can cuz unlike Rory he has an elite wedge game. He legit just won a tournament against Tom Kim because off the tee he took a three wood and laid it up to the correct position had 150 yards which was an easier shot than 100 yards Tom Kim had and we all know he has more distance and Tom Kim.

The PGA moved their tournament because they found August was a dead spot for them. Put the PGA in July and the Open in August? Agree on the FedEx Cup it's just a big scoop of nothing. It would be better as one tournament - top 30, 50, 70, whatever. Winner that week gets the big pot.

You just spent ages talking about how careers at the top of golf are getting shorter, and then ignored that fact that many of the top LIV golfers are likely on the way down e.g. Rahm who has been at the top for about six years. Scottie Scheffler has been at the top for about four years, and has only won two majors. If he doesn't win one of the next two majors, he could max out at about 2-3.

One of the possible advantages of team golf [such as LIV] is that the slightly more mature stars will find a place to show their talent later in their career. And being a valued member of a team could re-light the fire somewhat.

Big Tone's swing will allow him to play well on TOUR well into his 40's. Dudes like Adam and Ernie had longevity because of this too.

Why doesn't Andy get off his a## and drive a couple of hours to attend the JDC? BTW, the tourney was very well attended...

I have always liked Geoff, and I feel as tho ever since he left the Ringers Fairway Rollin podcast years ago, that podcast has never fully recovered and is now essentially a gambling odds podcast. The biggest question in golf is what the hell happened to Andy’s podcasting shed?

What do I like about golf? The uncertainty involved in the result on any day. The different styles of the players. Some are artists some are technicians others rely on brute strength and on any given weekend a complete outsider or even an amateur can beat the pros. Another thing I like is that the game is played on different courses requiring different skill sets. The best thing though is the enjoyment I get from playing the game.

I wonder... Would a tour player, in any given year, prefer to end the year as the #1 player in the world; or as the Open Champion, or Masters, etc.

The biggest question in golf is definitely does Scotty go on the run as undisputed #1 if LIV doesn't exist?

If you want to "asterisks" Scottie's season you have to "asterisks" everyone's season on LIV too. When Koepka won on LIV, Scottie, Rory, Aberg, Hovland and Schaffle were not there: Therefore Brooks's win should have an "asterisks" next to it. The logic goes both ways.
