Never had a tcl. My main tv is a sony 65 inch led. I am looking at this as i have 2 msi quantum dot monitors and love how they look. Seems qled is a lot better than led. Also got bleeding on dark parts especially when it is a movie with bars i notice some light coming through on my 65 inch sony. I may very well end up with this tv here soon and hope it doesn't have this problem. I am not even sure if qled is backlit. I do not think this tv has dimming zones either. But enjoyed review certainly helpful. I would love to know how bright my own tv is if it's more than 500 nits or much the same. As the brightness is a bit of a concern for me, I need to look into this. Also i have an atmos avr with 2 subs so sound isnt an issue and i never use the in built tv apps as i got amazon cube and ps5 anyway. Thanks again.

Got the 65 inch for around RM 2.4k during 11.11 (Was discounted during 11.11 shocking sale at RM2799 and used RM 250 voucher provided by TCL and RM 150 voucher provided by Shopee.) Would suggest those living in Malaysia to wait for promo days.

got myself a TCL P735 for 1.1k during 12.12 sale. im a little bit disappointed and left feeling like i shouldve went for the C645 despite having to pay more mainly due to the edges of the TV screen having this "glowing" effect. it is not super noticable but once you see it its hard to ignore

Just bought the 50" model today. I was choosing between this and a Sony x75k. I went with the tcl because it was almost €170 cheaper and has dolby vision and is qled. Very impressed by the picture quality and sound so far.
My previous tv was a sharp aquos and was 7 years years old with a very outdated os.
Is it laggy? What OS does it have?
@@sherkaan5714 not verry lag kinda slowish tbh expected at that price point. btw only lags in the menu when switching too fast. Running on google os, Just got myself one too, ngl picture quality's good but not oled good obv

120hz imaju samo modeli 55" i veći, a i to što imaju je lažno, ako spojiš konzolu npr, 120hz ćeš imati samo na full hd rezoluciji u game modu. Po onom što sam vidio na netu ni to ne radi najbolje.

Hey man, I’ve just bought this tv. The 120hz downscales to 2k resolution which is not really noticeable in most games. If I’m playing something faster paced like rocket league or battlefield I’ll set it to 120hz 2k, for anything else where 4k looks better for graphics (eg Forza or Far cry) the 60hz works fine.
It’s the best you’ll get for 120hz gaming on a 4k tv for under £700-800

I'm just sticking LED light bars at the back. You can purchase those LED strips for cheap.
There are more expensive HDMI passthrough controller but I have not tried those

Is this the same with C648 model?
Since the C648 is not available in our country, I can only tell you the difference based on the spec list.
Both models seems to be sharing the same parts except the C648 is consuming more power for some reason.
As we couldn't test the TV itself, we are unable to tell is it because the C648 is brighter hence consuming more power.

@@elephantsong7782 for spec wise that bang for the bucks is TCL C645. But I am insecure about the TCL TV after sale service. I bought Toshiba M550M at a price that is very very much cheaper than usual. Toshiba after sale service is handled by Hisense TV

I ordered 43 Inch it was £298 for me on Amazon. Another thing is that Amazon sells the C645K as C641K. I don't know why.

1440p at 120hz but 4k at 60hz ...
Small difference between 1440p and 4k considering the distance at which we play but 120hz makes gaming very smooth although it is not native.

Avoid Hisense, I got one and last 2 years... About TCL, don't know how reliable is, but if you want a tv that last many years, go for Sony.

You can't have 4K 120FPS on c645. You will have to lower your resolution to 1440p to get those 120 FPS as it is DLG120 not normal (kind of artificial 120), C745 lets you do 120 frames at 4K@@faarisfowzi9498

It has 120Hz in 1440p (2K) resolution.
This is an extra feature for the price. Other TV's don't provide you with this.
So good value TV.

Hi. Stumbled upon your video when I was researching for c645. Since there's only one hdmi2.1, and this one also has eARC support, means I cannot link my soundbar if i were to link my PS5 right?
unfortunately that is the problem if you want eARC on the soundbar. else you have 2 solutions:
1, connect soundbar to standard HDMI, you won't be missing out on the sound output.
2, if your soundbar has HDMI 2.1 passthrough, then you can plug your PS5 to the soundbar, then share the single cable to the TV HDMI 2.1 + eARC
is playing hardcore game like horizon good gor this TV?
Single player games I think it is fine. The quality looks good. Competitive multiplayer I can't comment as I'm not a professional player.
