This guy said in less than 3 minutes what other pro reviewers with millions of subs cannot say in 30 minutes. Amazing review. Just ordered a C645 and a soundbar to use during treadmill time and it looks like I've made a good choice.
Thank you for your encouragement! 😁
This much lag is gud in this price and guys plz slow ur life . .. lagging is good ..
How is it for gaming? Any lag happening?
@@mukul3204 Sure, it's good to take things slowly sometimes. But in this specific case, lag is not good as it's annoying.
@@MrProstaff61there is a great TV for games, there is an allm mode, a low delay mode
Thanks a lot for the honest review, I was looking exactly for this :)
Great conscise and informative review.
Cheers for this brother 👍🏾
Subbed for such a concise and honest review
Crisp to the point review! Thanks a lot!
actually the lag is at most of the mid range android / google tv, it happen to my sony and sharp TV as well, cos i believe it need a little time for it to load when you navigate menu.
Thank you for the video! I wanted to replace an older laggy Samsung, but after seeing the lag on this one it's clear that it wouldn't be any better.
Get any streaming box for it, that should fix the lag. I’d recommend the Apple TV (That thing flies).
Hi,
This is one of the best reviews I have come across when it comes to keeping it easy and to the point and not going into too much technicalities to confuse an average customer like me. Thank you so much and keep up the good work please!
PS - I have one doubt though on warranty. Why TCL is providing warranties of different tenures in different regions for the same model number? I am staying here in the UAE and the standard warranty for this model is 1 year. Is this something you can help me out with in case you have any information on?
Thanks for your comments Ashish. That's interesting, I am not sure why they have lesser warranty period for the same model of TV in different regions. I am wondering if there is less local service and repair support or perhaps it is a smaller market in your country?
Yeah somehow it differents between country.. thankfully here in my country (Indonesia - South East Asia) the warranty for this TV model is 3 years.. Im relieved about it 😊
@@innovational That makes sense on warranty issues... Anyways, I just went ahead and bought an additional 2 years warranty @ less than $100 on my TCL 645 75" today. I was going through circles while making a decision thanks to the zillion variants offered by the likes of LG, Samsung, Sony when TCL C645 kept making it's compelling statement throughout which was hard to be ignored. Then came in your review! Thank you once again!!
@@chrissavage1364i do gaming too.. but on PC via HDMI cable so not a console.
Great review. Thanks
Great review straight to the point no fuss.
Samsung Q70T soundbar CEC doesnt work for me. Can't control soundbar power and volume. Works fine on my previous TCL P8M Android TV. Same setup. eARC to eARC.
do you think tcl will bring out a 43 mini led in the near future...
Their little video on repeat in the store with the 55 c845 looks amazing where if you told me it was oled, i would believe it.
Tempted with the 50/845 but the location is a bit too high and close (1.6m away & base is eye level).
Sir What’s difference between tcl t6g and this model?
Thanks, It'll pair nicely with my NVIDIA shield in that case
Hey man, love the content,
Can get this model at 85 inch for 1300, if I use a fire stick, reckon thats a great deal??
Or should I just get a Samsung 7100 with weaker specifications but higher brand quality
Thanks man!
I would get the 85 TCL as the Samsung is a low end model with limited features. Fire stick is okay but locked into Amazon's system so you can only download from their App store and it's a hassle to download other apps that are readily available on Play Store. I personally use Mi Stick, but heard Chromecast 4K is decent. NVIDIA Shield is still the best, but the stopped making new models. All the best!
Nice explanation
Is this basically the same as the C641K? Thanks.
are you familiar with the brand Devant? What would you say is this model's advantage over Devant's QUHV04?
What to buy, this tv or Samsung CU8000?
Friends, I want to buy TCL 65c645. Please provide information. Does it freeze?
Just bought 50c645, in my kids room, for the price (400 Eur ) and quality, it maks this TV unbeatable
is it 120 hz?
I Wander if the TCL C745 has the same laggy UI or not
Im so torned btw this in 75 of 85 Inches or 75 mini led (qned85. I think ). Will eventuelly put a surround system to it
Hey quick question, do the different sizes have different features? Am I missing out if I buy the 43 variant or is it just size?
I'm quite certain it's just size, from looking at the specifications
Brightness varies with size
If you need the 120Hz gaming feature then you must buy at least the 55" variant
Lagging it’s a problem of most TVs not too expensive. Even fire-sticks they do lag too.
How bad is it? I want to buy it but will it run movies and CZcams smooth?
If I use Amazon Fire Stick 4K Max all the time, no lag on tv?
Lag is only when u use app downloaded inside the tv. Any external devices plugged in is not affected by tv processor because its only showing you what the device gives
i use a fire stick anyway. bought this today for 475.
cant wait.
Laggy and slow? LG and Samsung TV-s in the same price category with worse picture are much slower, like the NANOs
Using an LG C1 which is a few years old now it’s way faster than this and the software is way more responsive so I am not sure what you are talking about
@@HoodHussler you cant read? in the same price category, who is talking about a C1 which cost 2x as much as the tested tv
@@Aradebil you must be drunk or on drugs because u wrote LG which makes the C1 Man U must have a special kind of brain damage 🤣
How big is your tv
If I use external tv streaming box, will I still get Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos?
Yes, as long as that device supports it
No its not
Which is better c645 0r c646?
I have Toshiba Android TV and it also did lagging after some months usage. Maybe this problem comes from the OS?
OS is a modified android system which needs loads of juice. All of mid-range smart TVs have 4 ARM A53/A55 cores and a weaker gpu which is fine for sluggish performance. OS is good but definitely needs more powerful processor, A7x series at least which are available on more expensive tellys. 2 GB RAM does not help either, they need at least 4 GB for smooth performance.
Is 43 inch good?
Is this tv available in United States
I watch mainly for downloaded movies is this tv has best Picture quality in this price range?
Yes absolutely
hey man.. how much ram and storage for this model..cant find at spec sheet online
2 GB RAM, 16 GB Storage
Open developer options
Find build (hit it 7x )
Drawing options
How is this qled tv picture quality compare to LG UR7500 led both are same prices in my country bro can u please tell im confused to which one buy
Better of to buy lg it’s a bigger brand
This mean - using this as a pc monitor there's no issues. Got it
Hello, i just bought 55C645. Does anybody know where is the resolution setting, i can't find it anywhere
Resolution for what? I think its automaticly adjusting based on your internet speed, media source, or setting on the apps like CZcams etc
If I used a pc and game at 1440p 120hz using Freesync will this TV default to 60hz?
at 120 hz it gows to 1080p
@@codrinvechiu2832 that’s too bad……then maybe the newer C655 is a better option
I have the same TV. he is right !! Using it with Apple TV 4K. For 500 euro it is a really good bedroom tv (55"). internal android OS is really slow !!!! and picture quality not that great. with the Apple TV picture quality is significantly better.
Hai brother
I have tcl c635 , have some issues on audio output
My receiver only receive Sterio sound from tv hdmi arc
is it 120 hz?
How bad is it? I want to buy it but will it run movies and CZcams smooth?
No issues when inside an app. TV is good, if you get a Chromecast 4K or Mi Stick 4K, there will be minimal lag
@@innovational I heard some review that CZcams was lagging. Could you try it or did you try it on 4k for a couple of minutes?
I have made a video for you! czcams.com/video/g-g1k4j5IXg/video.htmlsi=nv_y-LjnSUjk0rcv
TCL 65c645 or Hisense 65u7hq
and any gaming console
Lagging is giid olz be slow ... This kuch is fine in this amount
Hi does this tv support hdmi 2.1?
Yes
@innovational can't seem to locate the 645 in the uk so went with the 641k hopefully that's still as good?
@@BenjaminW91I’m at this point now. I have found the C645 but most of the websites say HDMi 2.0b but the C641 that you have bought says HDMi 2.1. Will you let me know what you think? Is the C641 the newer model?
What is it nits brightness
450 apparently
@@innovational Is that a none issue even if the peak is just 450 nits? Or do the other models that reach about 1000 nits provide better watching experience? To be honest this is the only issue holding me from purchasing this TV.
@@ragnarick1984The more nits you have the better brighter more vivid picture you can get. True HDR starts from 1000 nits. This one has 450 nits as peak so although the pic looks good it is far from brilliant. If you can afford just buy a tv with 1000 nits or more, qled or oled and keep an eye on the in-built sound system as well if you do not want to spend money on a soundbar.
I don't think it's that slow - remember the price so don't expect a powerful processor
the lag also applies for gaming like ps5 ? or just the menu ? Thanks
It's only the menus, it's own software
yes is laggy but is ok for the money,my last tv a sony bravia 50 inch smart tv was even more laggy and was alot more expensive
That's not slow or laggy compared to Samsung and lg
IF LAGGY IS NOT MY CONSENT.....IS IT THE BEST TV ...???
I think it's the best value TV for the price
Laggy? TV Features: Google TV OS, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory, G31x2 800MHz Graphics processor
Thank you for the honest review!! Im about to buy this TV too but still thinking between getting 50 or 55 inch version 😅
Besides the lag of system is there any major downside of this TV? How is the image quality? Because I never use TCL product before, only Samsung and LG brand when buying TV
Also sound is not a problem for me since I will connect it to my LG 9.1 Home Theater via optical cable
Thanks for your feedback. In regards to picture quality, it seems fine to me. I've always had mid range TVs so I'm not familiar with the high end OLED TVs. As long as there's no obvious flaws I'm happy. I don't turn off all the lights and try to find fault with backlight bleeding or look at the level of contrast etc. I just enjoy what I'm watching 😁
@@innovational thank you for answering !! Cheers 🍺
@@innovational btw my 55 C645 arrived yesterday and Im so happy about it so far !! The picture quality are blown me away since this is my first time owning a 4K TV. What you said about lagging on app or system are quite true, tho for me at least for know its only noticeable when I try to open Netflix.. there are around 5 second-ish delay before it goes to Netflix's home menu, but other apps like Disney+, Prime Video and HBO GO just goes fine 👍👍👍
@@radite2177I am thinking abt gettin this one with 50 inch. Can you help me with your updated review? Is it a great TV
@@tejaspawar6552 sure.. the picture quality are superb, no complain for me. Sound are standard nothing special but like I said above that I use my home theatre as main source for sound via optical cable
The only problem that I had so far are system lag that also mention on this video. Sometimes its not that responsive when moving around menus, settings or apps (specially Netflix) but for me it only happends when I first time turn on the TV. After awhile that problem seems better and less happened.
That laggy is all TV's issues...comeon they cant bring AMd ryzen to all QLED tv's😂😂😂
And that's why it's so strange that they can't make $1000+ TVs and put in a decent processor with no major lag issues. My Chromecast TV cost about $60 and the system experience is excellent.
In other words, it doesn't even take a Ryzen processor, but a cheap but well implemented ARM processor
Don't buy this tv.
Y
Huh
I tried Kodi installed in it and it's ok. The memory on the TV is limited so watch the amount of apps you install.
why not ?
@@vikaspatel7112what about the picture quality will it be as good as samsung?
does it upscale from 2k to 4k @iNNovational
