Can't be happier to work on Mandalorian again. Such a great show & adventure and I enjoyed this season as much if not more than the previous one. What a crazy ride. Here is a little video to remind you guys how this show is amazing.
Also, merry christmas to everyone of you. I love you all and I wish you the best holidays possible. It's the most wonderful time of the year!
I hope you like it !

The best Mando of all the Mandos in the series too.
He went to save Grogu and won the darksaber in a fight and all the power which comes with it he never cared about. He cared only about Grogu.
Bo-Katan on the other hand thinks only about herself, refused to help him at first until he mentioned they´re hunting Moff and she smelled a chance to get the darksaber which was never rightfully hers in the first place. She never cared about Grogu, never reacted to his cuteness in any way. Even Karga, the hardened boss of the bunty hunting guild, totally melts when he sees Grogu. She´s a psychopath.

Truth is, once you ignore the Sequel Trilogy, Star Wars is in the best place its ever been. Just over the past 13 months we've had two incredible seasons of The Mandalorian, the perfect conclusion to The Clone Wars, an award-nominated single-player game in Jedi: Fallen Order, and novels and comics which continue to knock it out of the park. Before November of 2019 we also had Rebels, two great anthology films, and, again, more novels and comics.
Now in the future we've got Filoni and Favreau spearheading between four and five shows *minimum*, and the High Republic starting in just a couple weeks for us book readers. Really it's only the sequel trilogy that's failed at creating Star Wars goodness in the last ten years.

    The moment you realize:
Din Djarin sacrificed his most sacred rule, never letting another living being see his face, for Grogu. He didn't just do it once, either. He did it twice.
First, at the imperial base, where he killed everyone who saw his face (except Mayfield) and second when he said goodbye to Grogu. That was the first and only time Grogu had ever seen his face.
Also, why Luke is a perfect Jedi to train Grogu:
Unlike Ahsoka, Luke was born with a selfish attachment to others. Luke was not trained in a Jedi Temple from birth and, by the time he was trained, he had already selfishly bonded with Han Solo and Leia Organa Skywalker.
He saved Anakin Skywalker from Vader by bonding to and pleading with Vader's former self, buried deep within him.
Likewise, Grogu has an intensely close relationship with Din Djarin, one that Ahsoka Tano has never had because she was raised as a Jedi from birth. The closest she's ever had to that level of intimacy was with Anakin Skywalker (who she viewed as not only a teacher, but also a sibling) or Lux Bonteri (who she had a crush on in the Clone Wars).
Being raised as a Jedi, Ahsoka has always been afraid of that level of intimacy. Luke hasn't been and, like his father before him, embraces that connection he has to Han and Leia. He's learned how to still be a Jedi despite those selfish attachments.

And him finally giving him permission to go off with Luke the legend and showing him was a beautiful if heartbreaking culmination to this part of the storyline. I think letting Grogu go right after getting him back was one of the hardest things Din had ever done. Mine broke but in a bad way. Their reunion was so lackluster, forced and obviously just to sell more Grogu toys. They should’ve waited until the end of Mandalorian S3 for the reunion.
That little scene of Din looking at the hilltop where Luke was training Grogu was more than enough of the two we needed to see, and it would’ve been a great emotional moment for the character of Mando. Wanting to see the kid, but knowing for the kids sake it wouldn’t be good. I am so damn pissed they undermined the beautiful finale of S2 of Mando, they’re beautiful goodbye, just to have him come back not even two full episodes later. Imagine, you’re binging The Mandalorian on Disney+, you see Luke take Kroger and get in the feels from their goodbye. You start Mando S3 and they’re back together again. It’s just so stupid that they took a beautiful scene and ruined it. I am now nowhere near as excited for Mando S3 as I would’ve been 3 months ago.

@@magiccookies420 I absolutely agree. As cool as it all was, I wish the entire Mandalorian subplot were saved for S3, not Boba Fett’s show. It makes things really disjointed, and it almost ruins the excellent narrative of the first two seasons of The Mandalorian. The Book of Boba Fett should have stayed about Boba Fett. Din can appear, that’s fine, but he should have stayed a side character. Sure, the show would have been less exciting overall, but I think they could have found an engaging way to raise the stakes instead of cutting to Din’s ventures. We saw no training with the rancor, very little of Cad Bane, etc. These things could have been fleshed out and expanded upon in a very interesting way. I’m also rather disappointed, I must say.

The sequels break tradition with no payoff. Rey wins a saber duel in her first movie against Kylo. No matter what hes no longer a threat in the viewers mind. She beat him with what we know now is 0 training. So then Snoke is introduced and we had a scary antagonist to overcome until you know they kill him with an underhanded trick. (I actually would have been more on board with Kylo and Rey fighting him) then what she fights Kylo again someone we know she can beat. By the third movie i was rooting for Kylo to finally get a W against Rey. He did only to get distracted by his moms death and stabbed by Rey in a straight up villainous move. Theres no tension in any fight because its a forgone conclusion that Rey will win to such a degree that nothing matters.

Loved this. This was the best season of any TV show I've ever seen. Every damned episode gave me goosebumps and I was crying like a baby at the end. People will pick apart anything, and nothing is perfect... but in my opinion, this was as close as anyone could come to Star Wars perfection. Everything I've wanted to see since I was 12 years old, playing with Boba Fett toys and wishing he had a bigger part. Since I can remember, I have loved the Mandalorean legends in the SW universe. I always dreamed something like this would exist... but even in my dreams I don't know that I saw it being so damned cool. This week was like finding out that I WAS lied to as a kid... Santa Claus actually is real. All the things I gave up on as I grew up are still there and the magic is alive again... I am so thankful to Favreau and FIloni for this. It has been a once in a lifetime event watching this season and I've loved every second.
