  • Welcome back to Americana! We've got the 1978 GMC K10 here in the booth to do some much needed paint correction, now this truck was painted one time back in the 90s. Looks like an "ok" single stage job, lets see how this machine turns out! chevy c10 k10 k15

The third generation of the C/K series is a range of trucks that was manufactured by General Motors. Marketed under the Chevrolet and GMC brands from the 1973 to the 1991 model years,[2] General Motors gave this generation of the model line the "Rounded Line" moniker.[3] Produced across 18 model years, this series is the third-longest produced model of American pickup trucks (behind only the Dodge D/W-series/Ram pickup and the Jeep Gladiator/Pickup).
Introduced as the successor for the 1967-1972 "Action Line" C/K trucks, the third generation C/K expanded its product range to a four-door crew cab pickup truck for the first time alongside the traditional two-door pickup and chassis cab trucks. As with the previous generation, the model line served as the basis for the Suburban and Blazer/Jimmy full-size SUVs and shared body commonality with GM medium-duty commercial trucks.
In early 1987, GM began to phase the fourth-generation C/K as a 1988 model on the all-new GMT400 platform. As the company began a multi-year transition between model lines, the Rounded Line generation was renamed from C/K to the Chevrolet/GMC R/V series to avoid model overlap. Serving as the basis for full-size SUVs and heavier-duty pickup trucks, the R/V series ended production after the 1991 model year.
From 1972 to 1991, General Motors produced the Rounded Line C/K (later R/V) series in multiple facilities across the United States and Canada; the model line was also produced in South America in Argentina and Brazil. square body 1978 gmc high sierra

I had a ‘78 Sierra classic. My mirrors were the the three-arm style. Interior was the buckskin orange color. It was the best vehicle!

Hey man, did you want to help me put a puzzle together? I'm trying to put disc brakes on my 70 c10 but I want to use oem parts and keep my 6 lug wheels. If you have parts laying around put together a 71 c10 spindle with the 70 c10 hub, without the drum. Then a 4x4 rotor and just see if they work together with the 71 c10 brake caliper.
