My turn table motor broke on mine, but it's such a small space it still seems to evenly cook. Took about year and half for turn table motor to break, assuming you don't clean it. I probably abused it. Proctor Silex brand at Walmart.
700 watts is the microwave power, in electromagnetic energy. 1050 is the electrical power draw.
I'm just found a 1000 watt low profile 1.1 cubic foot microwave that has a range vent under it also and can replace your old range hood vent. Still will fit a tall glass in i lt too. It's like $550!

I’m in the process of converting my minivan and I also bought this microwave, mine is red, and I was hesitant to plug it in to my sungzu ska 1000 (1000W output) solar generator, after reading the input power was 1050W. I’m glad I didn’t because after seeing this video I realize the power draw is actually much higher. I guess I’ll have to run it off my gas generator. I really need one of those kill-a-watt meters.
hi, one of the new Panasonic INVERTER Microwaves are the best choice. They can be set to run on under 1000 watts, mine runs at 800 watts on power level 4. Most older type microwaves just cycle the magnetron on and off but they always run at full watts.

I don’t have Walmart in the U.K., where I live, the closest I have is ASDA, which is the British equivalent to Walmart. However (a little trivia) the first ASDA came before the first Walmart. Then Walmart bought ASDA. I’ve been to the first ASDA ever created (created back in 1949)

My “1000 watt” microwave actually draws 1428 watts. This is important when living on wheels. I am not so sure I am a Panasonic person any longer. The honeymoon may be over. One the other hand…my split A/C from pioneer draws just 200-400 watts once in equilibrium. I must do due diligence in all my research before purchase.

It's not true 700w when your 1000w power station can't run it.
I went through 2 microwaves and returned both. They both run at over 1000w.
They must not make 700w. Maybe, need to look for 300w.
