I'm probably a gold player at best but here's my take on a few reasons why that Thresh is a boosted support ruling out his unnecessary baby rage:
- no sightstone (no vision control)
- no oracles trinket (no vision control, again)
- went frozen heart, fully upgraded coin, and swift boots 28 minutes in (from what I saw in tab) against a team with hard cc like Ashe and Sej ult and magic damage from Sej, Teemo, Karma, and some Corki abilities. Sure, Ashe and Corki were lit but he's most likely going to take magic damage from Corki rockets, Karma Qs, and Sej engages well before getting anywhere near their adcs at that point in the game.
- He has literally 0 health items as a support "melee" champion that was designed for peeling and engage/disengage at sometimes very close ranges.
I think Nightblue's video is self explanatory to this guy's bonobo status aside from that.

Thresh is right, he may have been mad, but in principle sometimes you have to distribute resources to others so they don't feed as much. Sometimes preventing your teammates' feed is as good a carry as getting fed. The difference is that no one will recognize you. But that's what a true leader does. Of course it's not as fun to watch, watching ÑB3's mechanics is much more interesting, even if he loses the game. This is where I think, for example, QT and NB3 diverge. NB3 may be more technical but QT is much more game conscientious, never losing the point of the game, which is to build leverage to destroy structures to destroy the nexus(which is why he plays the late game characters for the long con), unlike the "get more kills" mindset NB3 always has. It's probable that NB3 has a strategic mind as well and understands these concepts, he just favors the technical spectacle for the viewers (not that it's wrong, just not as educational).
