If you know the actual sound files behind this tune, you notice the sound of PS-logo is played entirely in SCPH-1002 ( 0:45 ) instead of every others in which we don't hear the cut of the file (not counting the reverb effect)
Somehow it feels that the sweep-sound that we can hear when the PlayStation logo appears is a little longer in PAL version than NTSC version. Or it’s just me. 0:24 NTSC 0:45 PAL
Here's what I noticed: * In SCPH-3000 and all BIOSes from SCPH-7001 onwards (except SCPH-7003) the blue text fades in rather than appearing instantly. * In all BIOSes from SCPH-7001 onwards (except SCPH-7003) the trademark symbol is moved next to the "COMPUTER ENTERTAINMENT" text rather than above it. * In all PAL BIOSes from SCPH-7002 onwards the logo is stretched to compensate for the different pixel ratio. * In all Slim BIOSes the trademark symbol has been replaced with a registered trademark symbol, both in the SCE screen and the PS Logo screen. Based on this, are you sure you've the BIOSes all labeled correctly? SCPH-7003 like it should be placed earlier, and SCPH-3000 seems like it should be placed later.
These weren't in a specific timeline, these were just labeled by the model numbers presented in chronological order, but not by release dates. I believe that your input is excellent and I would never know anyone that would dive that deep into it, but I really amazed at how much detail you noticed. Good on you man.

The SCPH-1000 BIOS appears to be broken, as it won't go into the menu or the PlayStation logo. But I 100% assure everyone that there is a menu and a PlayStation logo in SCPH-1000. The SCPH-1000 menu is similar to the SCPH-3000 and SCPH-5500 menus. The BIOS that I mentioned probably came from a semi-broken launch PS1.

I remember when I was a child my parents roommate had 2 PlayStation console but i never know who startup screen looked like (well, I only saw the PlayStation 1 logo screen on my PS2) but i gotta say if the startup is taking so long to start the game it kinda gets creepy 😫
Are these recordings the real/original colour? Because sometimes the background on the first logo screen seems to be white, but here is has a bit of a tinted shade.

Its true. The NTSC version lasts about 8.5 seconds and the PAL version lasts about 9.1 seconds.
I wonder if its to do with Pal being 50hz rather the 60hz of NTSC, like how sonic runs slower on PAL Mega Drives

Aside from the fading, the newer version of the startup is a bit faster than the original. I have also observed that SCPH 103 wasnt included.

The BIOS is PAL, it's just that the recorder inserted an NTSC disc in it. Obviously only possible in a modded console.

There's a registered symbol on the slim ones.
The TM is next to the bottom text, starting from 1997 onwards.
The first ones like the 5500s 5501 1001 etc but the 7000s and the 9000s has it o the bottom right
The text only fades in some which is strange but the later slim models the chimes sound like they start too early.

To answer your question, no. This video hasn't been color-corrected. My first color-corrected video was released on April 12th, 2017.

If you load an NTSC game on a PAL PlayStation it will read SCEA instead of the usual SCEE, similarly if you load a Japanese game on a PAL PlayStation it'll say SCEI
