    Just getting started with Junk Journals. I ❤ your style of teaching this fun craft…your voice is calming and soft. I feel so inspired by all your videos I’ve watched. Trying to soak them all in!!!❤

    Obviously these the pages in these types of books are “coated”, so perhaps a gesso before using any type of painting or texture building medium. A towel with a warm iron will help flatten the pages as well. 🦋

    Thank you so much for this video......I learned alot. Adding coffee to remove the glossy is brilliant. I hate glossy pages....now i have an option.

      Yay!! There’s still a slight gloss but it’s nothing a little bit of clear gesso can’t fix! ☺️

    This is a lovely book to repurpose! And, don't forget...you can put gesso down before you

    This book is beautiful!i really like how your altering it ! Just a question, did you wait for each page to dry before moving on to the next? That would've taken you hours to do the whole book??

      Thank you! Yes I did it over the course of a week - throughout the day I would do a page then leave to dry as I did something else, then come back throughout the day :)
