For those wondering why your reticle isn't as tight as shown in the video it's because of your field of view settings. Set to 95-100 and it will look just like in the video. Note this doesn't change the accuracy

I'm a quadriplegic with no finger movement and the only guns that I use are shotguns as those are the only guns that I can use and be decent at the game. So thank you for this video as I'm currently struggling with shotguns as I tend to get a lot of hit markers. I miss the 725
Fun fact: These same tactics apply to hipfire for all weapons, not just shotguns. If you focus on Hip Recoil Control attachments, you can get your hipfire spread to be tighter with ARs, SMGs, LMGs, etc. In the same way that a shotgun will have a tighter pellet spread, the other guns will also have a "tighter spread". Obviously you're firing one bullet at a time, but the cone at which it can veer off will narrow significantly.
After this video came out, I ground out gold on all my shotguns, then applied the same to my other guns and it's been working phenomenally.

@@Xander_Park Because you can turn LMGs into hipfiring laser beams. And also because people don't inherently realize that Pellet Spread on a shotgun and Hipfire Spread on other guns are so closely related to each other.
Spamming hipfire with the Expedite-12 in the middle building on The Farm is a distinct gaming pleasure. From the first time I did it during the MP Beta, I knew MW2 and I would be good friends.
All the maps are so simplistic and outdated in design and dynamics. I bet the game could be rendered down to ps2 and still have all the same gameplay it does now

I like how you always explain what various attachments do, it makes it easier to modify and change them to my preference
heres what to do when you're in a ultra close quarters situation, when a super tight hipfire is actually a detriment.....jump. hipfire build requires you to know when to jump and when to stay grounded. any movement that isnt just walking/running, will just open up that spread. also, if you dont want your reticle to open AT ALL when you're walking. you need to tune the grip away from "hip walking speed". just tune it away from "hip walking speed" bit by bit until it doesnt open up anymore. any grip that negatively affects hip walking speed will prevent your reticle from opening up as you move.
Depends how you want to build it, being faster while hip-firing is helpful, especially when peeking corners or trying to dodge some bullets, and usually the rest of the attachments are enough to keep it somewhat accurate
Nice!! This has been a game changer for me. Aplying this knolwedge in other weapons, like SMG or the STB 556 has been a lot of fun! It feels like playing Combat Arms again

That one you can dial in for hipfire really well, however the later Bryson once you max it is the much better shotgun, achieving the same range and accuracy, but with 8 shots instead of 2. Gotta max it and then tune it, prioritizing hipfire accuracy and bullet spread.

i needed this video so bad lmao, i loved the 590 as i built it but guns like the 725 i could not get anything done with it due to how necessary ads was on it and how slow that ads speed is
Dont have all the guns unlocked yet..... but rifled barrel and choke have made a differnce to my sawed off Bryson..... cheers dude.

Always preferred now aiming them down so this is nice
pro tip: if you press mouse right you get a higher accuracy even if not scoped in. Press it a little bit before firing to get it at most
How have you got your crosshair to not sway all over the place when moving? I know about the center dot setting and turning crosshairs off, but when I leave the dot AND crosshairs on the crosshairs are swaying

I've been messing around with this exact build with the 800 for the last few days but with the Merc forgrip, also if you drop the stock for slugs it's not very practical but pretty funny makes them incredibly accurate
Yeah, it feels so good to no scope headshot, ADS breaks the pace sometimes
Shouldn't you drop the choke instead? I know it helps slugs to some extent but I would think the no stock attachment is more important.
@@Scroolewse I'm not sure, give it a try. On the embassy map down the longest sight line it had a roughly torso sized grouping in hipfire
5:40 the moving hip-fire accuracy is confusingly affect by your hip recoil control. Because of that I wouldn’t tune the grip for walk speed. I’d recommend leaving as is.

I just tried this setup and I’m slaying on Shipment. I got my first match with 84 kills. That’s crazy for me. I only usually get 37 to 48. Insane setup. Dudes trying to knife me get so pissed.

what is the difference between #tighter pallet spread and +hipfire accuracy?
That is my standard setup, i use the 890 though for more mobility and so i can run a guard instead (no viable barrels).

Does the hipfire radius with these make slugs more accurate than normal ADSing? Doesn't look like it would be but it would be funny if hipfiring slugs was more accurate than ADS.
why is dragonsbreath good for 1 shot kills at range? also if I ADS does it push the 1 shot range out further?

I been running around with shotguns since they put them in the game.. it take skills to get up close and personal with the shotgun.. with the striker, I’m a beast..

One thing about hipfire shot gun build is the movement. You can run around people who are ads while for you they basically staionary target

Would you mind explaining what you mean by "sweet spot" when tuning? For instance, with the under barrel grips, aim down sight is literally useless for this build, but you alluded to there still being a "sweet spot". Are there diminishing returns on tuning for each item or something?
Yea basically. Xclusive Ace has a video on it. But typically each attribute has a point where going any further in one direction hurts the gun more than helps. If you look at the graph, the little tip of that moving polygon will help guide you. You may be able to tune the slider more in that direction but notice the tip isnt changing much at all, but the other side thats hurting will keep going down. Littlw weird, but imo just eyeball it and try not to overthink it.
