You dont need shotguns at all if you have akimbo pistols that kills at 0.2ms and have much more range. Warzone 2 not for shotguns lovers like us.

Akimbo pistols where nerfed against armored enemies. So worse then they where in WZ now.

Yeah, they really should bring down the TTK of the spammy ones, but i'm actually having fun with the Deagle akimbo after the buff, really fun to gamble with the higher damage, less accurate akimbo

I hope they show a little more love to the shotguns in the next season. I've been running slugs because it's the only way I can guarantee killing consistency.
Would the sa b 50 be a better slug shotgun than the shotguns? Way better range and more forgiving damage. Better ads speed too lol
Do you always aim down sights when using slugs or have you found a way to hipfire successfully with them?
@@Jimov I have a build for the expedite that can accurately hip fire a slug out to 40-so metres. Just select every attachment that impacts hip fire accuracy and Max out hip fire accuracy in tuning. Only issue with it is you have massive flinch and recoil so you can't spam it or get shot or you'll lose.

@@Jimov you have to aim down sight you never used one huh .. you can get hip fire but for supper close fire but the range is why I use it … I shot 99 % of the time
Sorry to ask about the weird outliers here that are the Shotgun underbarrel for Rifles, but as limiting as they are they do seem faster and better than the Expedite lol
They need to make slugs a little more consistent in accuracy. Especially at 50m. In real life slugs are accurate too 100 Plus meters. MW2 and warzone 2.0 should add a brass pellet slug for armor piercing and a brenneke hollow point slug. If they give slugs a buff then I’ll be much happier with those two games.
Just don't trust the ads accuracy on those, feel like hip-fire is actually more accurate and forgiving with those this time around
So what in your opinion would be a build to reflect this onto the Bryson 890? just build for mobility? instead of range?
It has like an 8.4 meter 2 shot for range. Not bad at all, and the mag is nice. I would just put on the SA mx-50 with the Tacfire barrel, guard for fire rate, no stock, and dragons breath. Very similar build.

It sounds like the new damage caps will make shotguns more consistent up close in general. Needing to only land 2 or 3 pellets to get max damage.

I'm curious what your recommendation for loadout would be to complete the Close Quarters Mission for White Lotus Tier 5 in DMZ. Involves the Bryson 800. 50 enemies with sawed off. 30 operators with the CQB barrel. 3 melee kills with the culture claw Breacher. Not all three needing to be done at once.
Also, is there a trick to using shotguns against the DMZ AI? Because the tier 2 and 3 armoured AI take so long to drop that shotguns feel very high risk. Every other weapon type seem able to stagger them except shotgun (and DMRs).
The armor rounds work really good against them
@@nicholascrapser1366 pretty sure they nerfed anti armour rounds to only affect vehicles and I think cover penetration.
The expedite is good but it’s just too slow up close tbh

I know you specialize in shotguns, but you seem like you'd be able to test this well. How effective are Ap rounds(gunsmith & equipment) on players and dmz ai
ap does nothing to armored players according to the patch notes and armor shredding rounds(equipment) do more damage to armored players. Idk about dmz though.
You can always test it yourself a bit! Would you ask your local Pizza shop for a chicken tikka masala? :P

I think if they were to buff the Lockwood, (hopefully they do) they should take away the low hipfire dmg penalty, increase handling and maybe make the base reload more like 2019? Excellent video, as always.
I wish the shotguns were stronger in DMZ, as the tier 3 AI becomes really annoying to deal with. Buff the Bryson 890 please!
I shot somebody point blank with the Bryson 800 who had a sliver of armor left and he only took around 60 damage idk how
Man. The expedite is my favourite gun and i was really happy it was so good before and now it sucks nuts.
It is a bit off now. But DB does help alot. Just not my cup of tea anymore I think. Sadly.
What's the max range and or TTK with attachments on the Expedite?
@@Goomie yeah it just seems like DB might be quite ripe for frustration, going from 2 shots and dropping people to losing essentially every gun fight you get into within a metre difference.
Before it just felt strong and consistent and could beat SMGs quite close but further out you’d lose, so you were encouraged to hardcore pressure people. I suppose even more so now but it’s just less consistent.
What about explosive slugs? I know long range it’s really hot or miss, but mid range fights have worked very very well for me
They have some power last I checked. But so far the utility is pretty limited for em. Gotta check em out more tbh.
@@Goomie Please do! I found they’re pretty on par for multiplayer, and maybe a two shot body or oneshot headshot for about 15m, varies on plate count. But they do feel good!

@@andrealasorte7747 .50 Explosive and Explosive Slugs seem to never one shot players with Bomb Squad so I have never used them again after realizing this.

It just seems like a lazy patch tbh, they should have kept it around, it was viable until the nerf ngl as any smg would honestly be better, especially with the fennec as it is more versatile for situations. Even the revolver is scuffed too :/

Yeah they should be in the same vein as Launchers or Pistols the rate they're going. 6v6 1-hit kill modes notwithstanding.
I'm generally an advocate for shotguns but to be honest, all of these suck HARD
I'd rather have a random smg from the ground like a vaznev 9k over a slow killing immobile weapon that requires cover at all times in order to be effective
Honestly if they're just not going to allow shotguns (or snipers) to actually work then they should just remove them. They're fine with AR/LMGs and SMGs that kill in literally less than human reaction time but a shotgun that only works well if you're straight up INSIDE your enemy is somehow a huge problem that MUST be addressed. The COD community are just so fucking whiny.
2 things make no sense in this game. A shotgun should kill at pointblank range and snipers should kill at distance.

lol new cod lost 50% of its playerbase around 8th- december & i just saw it on a psn sale already😂 probable causes- lack of diversity gamemodes (plunder & obviously rebirth is what people are saying) and amount of bugs and glitches etc most obvious cause - shit game thats squeezing juice out of a fossilised lemon
