@@uhh741 The publisher is still EA. In this case, I'm pretty sure the fault rest on EA's shoulders who pushed the game out due to business schedules.
I saw how happy Neebs gaming were and they were visibly excited to bring back BFFS but no one thought this game would be a literal trash. Imagine the type and the amount of content we would have got from Neebs if this game was actually fun. But still they are trying to post content for a game with no content from the game itself.

I feel like every time a new BF comes out we all hope this is the one but then it isn't.
Even the early BF games that we fell in love with were a hot mess at launch. Really though since BF4, has anyone truly been happy from launch to next release?
We all have our opinions why (personally I think EA forces unrealistic deadlines, but just my opinion) but maybe it's wiser to just enjoy what we all had and loved and move on.
EA and DICE continue to do the same things over and over again. They tell us the same things over and over again. And we lap it up over and over again.

Yeah but no, callign elden ring ... working ... is generous. I had to spend a couple hours on scripts and Graphics card control panel settings to get the game to run, even then it is sooooo unoptimized. While its frame times are great, it can only get to 80-100 FPS max, luckily legacy dungeons have better framerates but still, a lot of garbage still in elden ring, for example PVP is still broken. OFC it was only broken on PC, so the console foos just kept mum making it harder to see these things.

Patch Guy is perhaps the most sympathetic character in BFFs. He's stressed, overworked, and trying his best to improve things, but it's all for nothing because he's subject to the whims of his hopelessly out of touch higher-ups.

Everyone’s having a blast communicating as a team, playing with new maps and new weapons. Before you know it, hours have passed. Everyone hops off with a smile on their face from the wonderful immersive experience you had together.

The same thing that happened to every other game - the industry went big. The share holders and publishers looked for ways to make as much money as possible, as fast as possible, while spending as little time and money on the game as possible. And as long as people keep pre ordering and buying into the microtransactions - it won't change.
People in charge are not passionate devs anymore they are greedy scumbags with no vision beyond profit and the sad thing is it keeps making money for them...

I seriously cannot believe how busted this game is all way down to its core. Battlefield 5 at least had a solid polished core that played very well and up to triple A standards. This is LITERALLY the quality of game I would expect to see in the indie section in steam for 1-10 dollars with less than 100 players. This was a literal robbery and should be illegal.

I’m still baffled by the fact that EA an DICE abandoned the live service for Star Wars battlefront 2 to support this disaster. Seriously they had a good thing going with that game. I feel bad for battlefield and battlefront fans.
They abandoned Battlefield V for this shit as well. Imagine a world where development on those two continued and 2042 was never made.

I want battlefront 2 back… it was honestly the funnest fucking fps. Rolling up behind a line of clones with a droideka and mowing them down was fucking euphoric.
@@zolikat4458 BFV had it's own share of problems too. Once they changed the TTK the second time for Xmas noobs after promising they wouldn't do it again, I dipped. Never went back.
