Not about this brand, but I have been using Dashing Diva mail strips for years! A few weeks back they launched a program that was basically an ✨mlm ✨ but they didn’t call it that. Consumers LOST IT and were so disappointed with the decision. A few weeks after the initial announcement, they finally came back and said they DISSOLVED the new program explaining that they value their costumer more than anything else. I share because it was a huge win! Thank you for sharing the negative side of these mlm companies and bringing light to the challenges and hard ships it can cause. I appreciate your content so much!

Unfortunately I have a friend that is deep into this MLM. It’s so sad to watch her, but - as an individual that has been on Lexapro for years - it’s also infuriating. I avoid her mostly now, but she did message me once claiming that her products might “help me get off the script” and I was enraged. I’m fortunate to have insurance, and my pills are $9 for a 90 day supply, and they have made life changing improvements to the way I function! Why in the world would she try to convince someone to PAY $200 a month for some crappy supplements that will most likely NOT WORK? The fact that my poor sweet friend is preying on people with these vulnerabilities is infuriating. This has 1 million percent negatively impacted our 20 year friendship:-(

Any suggestion from someone (and they're never mental health professionals) that I need to get off my meds gets me so heated. And to think these reps are out there, with no health care education, with the ultimate goal of making money instead of 'do no harm.' It's just vile. For real! My meds cost me $5 per prescription (for the ones my insurance covers). My insurance doesn't cover the meds I really would prefer for my ADHD, but what I do take is better than any supplement I could take. I want the long acting form of my meds that is also harder to abuse, but insurance will only approve to pay for me to take two shorter acting forms of the medicine (two different doses, taking one of each per day), and this form is very common for abuse and makes me uncomfortable having it on me or having anyone know I take it because I need it and don't want to deal with it potentially being stolen or having someone offer to buy it. But again, what I have is much better than vitamins or supplements or anything I can access without a prescription, and it's cheaper too, since it costs me $10 per month total.

There's a global shortage of ADHD medication at the moment, we're talking rationing drugs and saving correct dosages for only the most desperate days. The hormone pack makes me think of the pill my dermatologist just gave me. She saw me for this really bad acne I have, took one look, and was like "ah yes, this is hormonal" and prescribed me a (normally) blood pressure medication. It'll help even out my hormones because of perimenopause. So far, I am feeling a bit better, mentally, because my hormones aren't fighting me as much, and it's still new but my face is starting to clear. The fun thing is, she's a DOCTOR, she told me all the side effects and to make sure to look out for signs of certain things from taking these medications and possible interactions between this new medicine and the other medications I'm already taking. I'm in training to become a mental health professional and the ratio of people to mental healthcare providers is staggering. For reference, the average therapist sees about 25 clients a week -- so if even 1/10 of the 350 people per provider need mental health services, therapists are still going to be overbooked. And that's without thinking about things like insurance, scheduling, medication management, etc. The mental health system in this country is broken, but MLMs are not the way to fix it.

27:20 Hannah, what concerns me about the names of these ranks is that “Servant Leader” is a term that is widely used in the Christian faith - especially in Evangelicals/Pentecostal churches . The notion that Christ was the ultimate Servant Leader (ie the leader so humble that he would wash his disciples feet etc) and while it is a wonderful concept and I do not begrudge anyone their faith. This smacks of potential Faith Manipulation - aimed at The most vulnerable people possible. The evangelical church already has a pretty poor track record with their stance on mental health. I will have a look through the rest of their site to see if there is any other language that may be indicative of a faith based connection. Thank you for all the work that you are doing. Something that's good to know: When talking about "mental health issues" it's important to note that ADHD & Autism don't fall under that umbrella. They're neurodevelopmental disorders, meaning they have to be present in early childhood or before a certain age to be able to be diagnosed. You can't develop ADHD as an adult if you didn't have it as a child. You can however get Depression, PTSD etc. later in life. Also, people with ADHD or Autism may or may not struggle with their mental health.
In my case for example I have ADHD and mental health issues. I can overcome and heal my mental health issues through therapy but I can not heal my ADHD.

I used to work in food quality for a pretty major food manufacturer, and while it was customary for a company to have a document outlining their analytical practices, it's only a part of the necessary whole. Sure, those are what they claim to be testing for, but where's the evidence? what are your target specifications? what do you do if something is out of spec? what is your accreditation? who regulates your company? I'm going to guess that most of those questions don't have answers. That sheet is a farce and simply a way to try and look like they're compliant, but anyone with at least a passing knowledge of quality and food safety practices knows that analysis sheet might as well be toilet paper for all the evidence it provides.

So sorry you had to put up with her nonsense - it's awful that people who fall for these scams go after their own family!
Sadly, MLM reps see us as easy targets since it's so well known that people with depression and anxiety have problems with their digestive system. My first stay at the psychiatric hospital i was asked if I had any issues with my stomach and I was like "uh, yeah, why do you ask?" They had a special diet and offered some meds and stuff too.
Also, back and neck pains are a common thing, because we tend to kinda curl into ourselves and are tensed up all the time.

thanks for making this video. a lot of people are going to turn to this out of desperation. in my area, it's not uncommon to have a 6 month waiting period to see a psychiatrist as a new patient. these supplements have the danger of people taking them and then blaming themselves for not "getting better" or feeling any different. that kind of guilt can weigh heavily on an individual and can push some to do things they could regret.

No need to apologize on the pronunciation. I would expect this brand to be pronounced AH-MAH-REH ( the as the e in "get")- especially since it's based on the latin word. In latin it would be as I mentioned above.

The terrible part of these is that in a lot of cases, in the US, these absurd prices are STILL lower than a prescription doing the same thing. Not only do representatives have to claim that the supplements are better than prescription medication, they have motivation and financial incentive to demonize pharmaceuticals.
In a group think setting, this is how individuals become radicalized to be against modern medicine. It’s ok to be wary of pharmaceuticals, but some people end up taking it to the extreme. I have a feeling that members of Amare are in the pipeline towards becoming the extreme especially if there’s a financial and social incentive
