Somethings you guys do so poorly compared to any amateur BBoy, suicides and coin drops, 2000s 90s
You guys really out to try more airflares if you do them seems like the “scoot kicks” you do would work great for set up or Kip ups or hand springs without planting your feet.
Also windmills are super easy if you know what to do. I used to teach people pretend to spin the ground like a wheel on a car. Don’t think about moving your body think about moving the ground and do everything in your power to keep your legs wide and straight. Your subconscious will make you want to pull in and use your power leg to kick but don’t. Your hips should actually move any a subtle circle like in a flare but you don’t need to concentrate on this. The easiest way to start them is to do a hard back spin kick with your power foot then hop so that your in what will look like a late coin drop where you don’t make it to your back. Instead reach your arms slightly out not fully but a little more than the rest of the windmills and do just as I said. Spin the floor like it is a massive wheel… a really big heavy wheel. Your power hand elbow should lock into the pocket of your hip bone during rotations if your low, high you will just figure out because it’s the same principle your just going faster and your higher on your back. I used to get going so fast that I would basically bounce from shoulder to back of my head to forehead to shoulder. Which is freaking psychedelicly fast and fun but anyways. Beginners learn to lodge your weight on your power hand by connecting forearm to hip pocket this hand lifts up towards your shoulder you want to essentially guide your weight past the front of your shoulder by lifting the floor up right to the peak of your shoulder joint at which point your weight will slip off the bottom of your hand and you will be on your back. Just because I say lift doesn’t mean you aren’t spinning the earth like a plate you there should still be a slight to decent arch in the bicep curl your doing with your power hand which is where most of your weight should be. The weak side hand does the opposite it starts high and you pull that spin with all your might it should start at your shoulder height somewhere between your collar bone and outside of your shoulder and it should spin hard in a circle around the outside of our ribs and into your gut below your solar plexus. This is sort of like I see karate San Chin forms do where the lower hand and upper hand spin around and change places. Just remember your keeping your body rigid the floor is what you need to move like a giant wheel. For momentum’s sake the horizontal spin is way more important than the vertical spin meaning the part where you move on to your back if there’s a lot of force in the horizontal spin then all you need do is put your hand to the peak of your shoulder as the final bit of travel and the momentum will carry you over.
Now once you actually start spinning, not what a lot of what I see here which is spin catch spin catch. The challenger guy had it right he was actually keeping some momentum. Once you keep momentum. You have to do what the challenger guy did which is move both hands to like a low boxing stance where the weak hand is just slightly higher your still trying to spin the earth but because you are now rotating you have way less grip and way less space and time. So you basically just tap tap. Weak strong, like when you spin a bike wheel faster and faster after awhile it moves so fast
