Cancer में तीन मुख्य प्रकार के उपचार होते हैं Surgery, Radiotherapy, और Chemotharapy | कोई भी ट्रीटमेंट हो हर एक treatment कोई ना कोई complication के साथ आता है। Radiation जो जितना cure कर सकता है patient को उतने ही अंश में complication भी दे सकता है। यह जानकारी होना बोहोत जरुरी cancer patients केलिए
आज हम बात करेंगे complications of radiotherapy फॉर Breast cancer , head &neck cancer और Gynaecological cancer | तो जानते है Cancer Patient में Radiotherapy से क्या Complication हो सकती हैं?
Radiotherapy side effects
Mouth, Neck और Tounge Cancer में Radiotherapy देने के बाद क्या क्या Complication हो सकते है?
यह बात आपको ध्यान में रखना बोहोत जरुरी है की radiation यह एक सामन्य xray treatment है।
१. Radiation Dermatitis - Radiation के दौरान उजागर त्वचा काली हो जाती है| यह करते वक्त वह जब skin के साथ contact में आता है तो थोड़ा pigmentation हो सकता है। इसका treatment अपने आप हो जाता है ७-८ दिन में ठीक हो जाता है याफिर treatment के वक्त डॉक्टर्स कुछ steroids cream देते है जिससे यह होने की सम्भावना कम होती है।
२. Myocytes - मुंह में छाले पढ़ जाते है और जिन patients को radiation और chemotherapy दोनों लेनी पड़ती है उनको और भी ज्यादा प्रमाण में होने की सम्भावना होती है। इसका treatment जितना patient oral hygiene maintain करते है उतना complication कम होता है।
३. Xerostomia - लार के उत्पादन में कमी के कारण मुंह में सूखापन हो जाते है। इसलिए अपने डॉक्टर से बात कीजिये।
४. Dysphagia - निगलने में कठिनाई होना। जब मुँह के कैंसर का ट्रीटमेंट होता है तो radiation गले पे गिरता है जिसके कारन ३-४ हफ्ते बाद निगलनेमे कठिनाई होती है। इसके लिए radiation से पहले patient को mucaine gel नाम का syrup दिया जाता है ताकि खाने में कोई तकलीफ ना हो।
Breast Cancer के लिए Radiotherapy देने के बाद क्या क्या Complication हो सकते है?
आज कल breast cancer यह काफी आमतौर पे पाया जानेवाला कैंसर है। जब radiations लेते है breast केलिए तो इसके भी थोड़े side effects रहते है जैसे की
१. Skin pigmentation : radiations के वक्त जब skin के साथ contact में आता है तो थोड़ा pigmentation हो सकता है। इसका treatment अपने आप हो जाता है ७-८ दिन में ठीक हो जाता है। इसके साथ ही अपने कपडे losse पहनिए और डॉक्टर जो skin cream recommend करते है उसका इस्तमाल करना है।
२. Lymphedema - हाथ पर सूजन। इसका इलाज व्यायाम करने से हो सकता है और radiations के बाद सुबह 10 मिनट और शाम १० मिनट व्यायाम कीजिये।
३. Toxicity to the Lung and Heart : radiations या dose lung और हार्ट पर भारी पड़ सकता है इसलिए advance technique के कारन lung का dose prevent कर सकते है पर हार्ट dose केलिए Active breath control का इस्तमाल किया जाता है जिसके लिए device का इस्तमाल किया जाता है।
Cervical Cancer के लिए Radiotherapy देने के बाद क्या क्या Complication हो सकते है?
Cervical cancer का treatment 25-28 दिन केलिए radiations होते है। इसमें सबसे आमतौर पे होनेवाली complication होती है :
1.Urinary Tract Infection जैसे Cystitisजो urinary bladder को dose जानेके कारण होता है। जिसमे patient को पेशाब करते वक्त थोड़ी जलन महसूस होती है।
२. Proctitis : शौच के वक्त तकलीफ होना या जलन होना , यह rectul mucosa में सूजन आने के कारण होता है। इसके लिए डॉक्टर्स patient को मसालेदार न खाने केलिए कहते है और कुछ cream देते है।
