I’ve now moved my CCTV watching time to Saturday mornings with a coffee in bed, love the review and tbh the car is cracking , I’m about to check out the price , which I’m sure will put me off lol, the 2 seats at the back seem pointless but for small kids I get it, the interior and front dash and media look mint! The steering wheel I thought was ugly. I do like the exterior though, but maybe as u said it’s quite plain looking. I’m looking for my next SUV but I’m still going down the VW route.
Test drove the gle and x5 and both are very close but went with the merc just preferred the interior and was bigger inside than the x5 and you don't see that many gle on the road compared to the x5

Mercedes is always the best. Can't be compared even with body looks to other cars. This alloy wheels is different from the usual 400d wheels. This wheels are for 300d. The usual wheels for 400d gives it a more agressive look
once you go 400, you can never go down to 350. once you go AMG you can never go down to 400
I've got the 400d as a courtesy car while my 2021 X5 40d is in for a service. The ride quality is absolutely awful compared to the X5. Maybe because the GLE is running 22" wheels. Like you say its a marmite car but the X5 is way better looking and i prefer the interior with the sky lounge with all those LED's which i haven't seen any other car maker copy yet. X5 all the way.

So I take it your not a fan of mercedes then?
