    One year late but your cool, concise and PROFESSIONAL behavior and instructions made a subscriber out of me! I am a seasoned mechanic as well as a home builder (almost 25 years of electrical, plumbing, hvac-r, roofing, siding, flooring and literally EVERYTHING in between at a professional/licensed level and knew how to change the filter in my sleep but you almost put me to sleep with this video it went so smoothe! Good work brother and sorry for the book but respect recognizes talent! God Bless my friend.

    Extendable magnet is almost always your friend. Additionally, maybe spray clean your Mass Air Flow sensor module while you have full access. Excellent video.

      Great tip on cleaning up the MAF, I always forget to do that while access is easy!

    Best video on changing the air filter on a GMC Acadia. Yes, it beats 1A Auto which shortcuts the process by not removing the filter cover, but instead just muscling the filters in and out. Removing the cover is the best way to do it so that you can see the filter housing and clean it too when replacing the Air Filter. Nicely done.

      Appreciate the thorough feedback! I watch and enjoy 1A Auto videos and saying I was more detailed made my day haha. Glad the video was useful and thanks for taking the time to comment

    Great video. You made it easy. Love your calm manner and music. A flexible but extender made accessing the screws much easier for me. Thank you!

    Thanks for the great and helpful video! Do you need an extension bar to remove the Torx screws or will an average length driver be long enough?

    • @EngineeredMojo
      @EngineeredMojo  Před 2 lety +1

      Somewhat average length should be fine. I can't remember exactly, but I believe as long as your driver is at minimum 9 inches then you'd have minimal conflict while removing screws

    Dobu need ti recalibrate system after installing air filter so the computer reads correctly? If so how to do that?

    • @EngineeredMojo
      @EngineeredMojo  Před rokem

      It will recalibrate during normal driving after the install. Just perform your normal driving and the MAF sensor will recalibrate based on the clean air filter 😀

    So on the 2017 GMC Acadia do you need to change the transmission fluid at 34,354 miles? and can i do this myself and how....and inspect the evaporative control system what is that and its location?

    How much hp can replacing the air filter create?

    • @EngineeredMojo
      @EngineeredMojo  Před 3 lety +1

      Under 5 hp prob depending on how dirty the filter was. Not a big bump, but it will definitely improve gas mileage
