I love the mid 80s anime style, and I gotta admit the concept threw me off guard, it’s like Square’s version of Alice Madness Returns. Not sure about the gameplay though, it’s looks kinda IOS for a console game.
Square is just the publisher as far as I know. This isn't their talent, the devs who made this made Pocket Mirror which is a really beautiful RPGmaker game.

Only played 20 or 30 mins of the demo on Steam and I'm already sold on this game. I am completely blind to the fact that it has "some" horror themes and that it's actually a cute wholesome video game ^^
OK for a second I thought that was a game version of this fairytale that might've traumatized me a little bit as a kid about this girl finding some beautiful red shoes, puts them on and keeps dancing I think and can't take them off anymore so the lumberjack chops her feet off😅
Amazing to see this style like they used during the 80´s and 90´s. But this is still made with computers? I really think this is peak anime style with colors and everything. Wondered why they don´t make it like this unless it´s really expensive.
