Love your truck rants...and they make me a bit homesick, given I grew up not too far (maybe an hour and half at most) from where you drive and now live across the country. Even in winter with the bare trees on all the hills, the rain, clouds, the rural-suburban area, etc. etc.brings back good memories Keep doing the rants after January...they're fuckin' gold!

My grandfather drank 60 oz of Pepsi every other day and lived to be 89 years old. I guess he was supposed to be 104 years old? My grandfather was 85 when my grandmother died and he missed her so much he wanted to die. At 86 years old the doctor said one of his vessels from his heart would burst and he would die in a matter of minutes when it did go. He refused the surgery to fix it. They gave him six months before it would burst. A year later they found another one and he refused the surgery for that. At 88 he had a punctured lung and a broken rib and he told them not to replace his pacemaker battery that had died. He lived another year. He died 3 months after his 89th birthday. The man was a tank... and they say the Pepsi was supposed to take him out.
Sorry. I find it comical. I see these health nuts that die in their 50s and 60s, and my grandfather who was not a health nut lived til he was 89 years old with all of these elements that were supposed to kill him in a matter of months and probably should've been dead when his rib punctured his lung. He refused treatment hoping it would speed everything up and he lived another year. Maybe God was teaching him patience? 😂
My great grandad on my dad's side lived to 90 smoke like a pack or two a day, and drank like 20 cups of coffee or so😂. According to gurus he definetly should have died way earlier!

With that being said looking toward all these social media health and fitness "experts" is not the way to go. Especially right now. Everyone is on the keto/carnivore train. Not saying those diets dont work but they have become extremist about it. Chicken broccoli rice wirks jyst as good for weightloss as it dose for body building. I know iev done it.
