- One of the most surreal experiences of my life is doing a review of my own curriculum! More Than Words level 1 is a Bible curriculum that I wrote through Masterbooks. Level 1 is geared for grades K-3 but is being used by kids from 5-10 years old.
Level 2 is coming, along with 3 (middle school) and 4 (high school).
This video is a snapshot of my heart behind it, how to use it, a flip through of the pages, and a little more info on the next level that is coming soon!
Charlotte Mason inspired, a morning basket in a book, this Bible curriculum can be used independently or as a family. It can be used in a Sunday school setting or even as a children's devotional!

As a relatively new Christian who is very young in biblical knowledge myself, teaching the bible has been a huge struggle for me. So excited to buy this guide. I know i'll learn as much as my son along the way!
I am tearing up as I watch this video!! You are speaking my own heart! I just found you this week on youtube as I have been searching new curriculum for my children. I have 4 children ages 12, 10, 7 & 5. I have been realizing that we were on a hard traditional style of learning, which is not what I want for my family and not working for my younger ones. In the beginning, I had no idea how to homeschool but the conviction to do it was deep! So we started doing it the only way I knew. But my heart for the Lord and how we do family and church has changed the way I think of schooling. I am leaning more toward a classical style of learning for my children and found your reviews for homeschool curriculum which were so incredibly helpful. And now I am tearfully watching this video and hearing your heart for our children to know the truths of God that are so deeply intertwined in our own hearts!! Thank you for your heart and your hard work to make homeschooling a more tangible, God honoring task!

I have a 12 year old, 8 year old and 3 year old and baby on the way! Your response to Rebecca spoke to my own heart as we are remote learning “traditional” with the school still, but feeling the conviction to go with a more classical, Charlotte Mason Approach. This is awesome, we are considering changing curriculums and then we saw this video. My daughter and I loved it. We went to Master Books and checked it out. You did an amazing job and should feel so proud! She has said if we change, this is what she wants to do.

I did hear mentioned during the MB interview the fact that this is a bit girly. I must say, after looking at this video, I must say I agree. I’m hoping the upcoming levels will me more neutral. I’m trying to picture my almost 10 year old son NOT looking at me a bit sideways once I present this to him. I can only imagine how much more once he gets older.

This brought tears to my eyes...because it's been what I want so badly for my kids. To have a true love for GOD and for JESUS. Their OWN relationship because they THINK about what HIS word says.. Wow I have looked at these books and found that Icould sed them first. But now I learned who the author was, the lady that I had seen and heard and admired so much! I feel blessed! In Christ, Ann Marie an almost 74 yr old great grandma who is still home schooling!

we just bought this and I love the hymn study and character study, I felt like my kiddo needed something more structured for Bible and this fell into my lap while looking on Masterbooks. He is in kindergarten this year and after watching your review I see now you can use it for multiple years and cycle it through again, so I may do it when he get's into second grade as well, and get my little man started that year too.

Hi! Did you buy two books or did you buy one and use it for both or did you buy the digital? Trying to figure out which works best with multiple kids...
Jason Hinton since we are using level one for both of our boys we bought the digital copy from master books. This allows us to print a copy for both of our boys. I print the book in color on copy paper, double sided, and bind it. I print the study cards in the back on card stock so re can review.
Jason Hinton we buy all our older boys books that way through Master Books.

This got me emotional! I keep finding kid bibles, but have had a harder time finding bible curriculum. I also was thinking about doing a language arts curriculum over the summer to help keep my 6 year old daughter learning. This is great! Definitely buying!

Hi! I love this curriculum and your heart behind it. I have been following your homeschool videos for a while. Thank you for being so encouraging and real. Right now we are doing lvl 1 but my kids are 9 and 10. Would you recommend getting lvl 2 as well to read through at the same time? Or doing them separately?
I looked at this several times going back and forth on it. I saw another homeschooler review this and I loved the idea. I just wasn't sure if it was right for my 11 year old. But hearing you say that your 11 yr old has been using it, you have sold me on it. I was originally thinking I was going to wait for volume 2 to come out, since its geared more towards her age group. This may replace a few things in my morning basket. I think it's awesome that it will just fit right in amd it won't take away from anything else, especially the bible study I have planned for our morning basket time. I like that you incourperated the meanings of the words so no dictionary is needed, but at the same time if you are teaching your child to use a dictionary, it gives you the option. You put some much thought in addition to your heart and soul into this, thank you. I will be heading over to Amazon right now to see if I can have a copy delivered before school starts on Monday. This looks really beautiful and fun. One question: I see on the table of contents that one lesson is on “Saved” Does this curriculum teach a certain denominational view on Salvation?

I just found this and I'm super excited to try it out this coming school year. I found level 1 and lvl 2 but I was hoping you might be adding another level soon. My oldest is 12 and I'm going to go ahead with lvl 2 for him but it would be nice to do this again in subsequent years as he gets older. Will you be doing any higher levels later on?

If you have picture studies in this curriculum is it enough per week for picture study or you suggest adding another picture study on top of this?

The question I have is if I go ahead with More Than Words (which I want to) with my 1st grader and K next year- should I do the next level after I complete level 1? Will level 2 be set the same way (coloring pages ect...)
