I didn't mention this in my video...but how do you feel about using this book for a boy?? I'm thinking about doing this with my boy next year.
My son is 7, and ALL BOY, and while I thought it looked a little girly, he didn’t even bat an eyelash. Enough of the stories are written from a boy’s perspective, so it was fine! We also didn’t do the coloring pages and skipped some of the copy work. It was more important that he get the meat of the lessons than do the actual work, so we ended up doing a lot of it orally, and the key truths from the weeks ended up being sort of like affirmations that we reviewed often. We went slow and got through half of it last year, and my plan is to finish it this year!

We are going to use More Than Words also this coming school year! So glad to hear you enjoy it! I totally get wanting to mix it up though! Next year I’d like to look at Our 24 Family Ways. I’ve heard such great things about it!
