The son knows in reality who Palpatine really is bc he's supposed to be the embodiment of the dark side so he must know all dark side users maybe and that means he could of told them who Darth sidieos really but he won't

Sam Witwer is such a great voice actor. I love his portrayal as the Son and Darth Maul in the Clone Wars, and as Galen Marek (Starkiller) in The Force Unleashed.
This is pretty much the devil of Star Wars, and that thought alone is terrifying. He's like a mix between every Sith character in the franchise, in the best possible way (everything he says, does, or heck, even his voice are references to past/future villains). Witwer did such an amazing job here

Legends Palpatine would stand a far higher chance. Guy created force-storms over a planet, wormholes and eradicated all life on a planet.
I love the fact that the son loved his sister despite the fact she was his opposite on everything. He hated everyone else but her. Despite his desire to get out, despite knowing she would oppose him, he never wanted to kill her. The fact that killing the Father make the Son mortal? That doesn't make much sense, why would the Son want to kill the Father if it make him vulnerable?

The Son is possibly the most relatable villain in the clone wars. The Jedi just brought a war to his home and took the side of someone who was restricting his off planet movement for no good reason. He just wanted to end the war and destroy the powerful.
He wanted to freedom which is the core of the dark side and what Sith originally represented. The Light and Jedi represent order and structure, but the dark and sith see both as bondage that restrict the freedom and growth of everyone in the galaxy. The Son 100% would have caused some chaos and destruction just being himself, but all he really wanted was the chance to experience the galaxy and be free beyond the planet. To a certain extent the daughter wanted it as well but she (representing the light side) was able to suppress her impulses and acknowledge that they were too powerful of beings to be completely free.

I just thought of something the reason Ezra blacked out after closing the portal was because he had to channel the Dark Side to close it which like the first time he used it overwhelmed him causing him to faint despite him getting used to it he wasn't ready for using a huge amount of the Dark Side more so since the Son was the literal embodiment of the Dark Side
The son was stated to be the embodiment of selfishness not the dark side, which is why the father stated that his son (fell to the dark side) as if it was a cancer, that's why he embodies the force it self, the daughter is the embodiment of Selflessness.The son and daughter both fuel the dark and light side but they are not their embodiments, the son's force lightning is naturally aquiered when he drunk from the pool of power,his eyes and powers aren't fueled by the dark side,they just belong to him

That’s intentional actually! In an interview Sam Witwer said that when they had filmed the earlier parts of the arc he feared that he sounded to much like Star Killer, when he brought this up to Dave Filoni he reassured Sam by saying it was a good thing, so from there on out he tried to channel multiple Dark Side users into his performance, with certain lines sounding a lot like them.
This was before Disney brought star wars. I was excited that the mortis arc would foreshadow abeloth and Luke's new jedi academy in the future but alas it could no longer bloom into that because of new management. And their first order of business was to axe all the established lore to create their own shitty version.
They were gonna referenced in the original Rise Of Skywalker script. The Ones were possibly gonna be casted for the film but that will sadly never see the light of day now.
