Hi Flavine! I enjoyed listening to you. I am from Ja 🇯🇲 and I was an International student in Be 🇧🇪. I assumed I wouldn't have been able to focus on my hair during my studies (and I was right) so I cut it all off and regularly went to a barbershop in Leuven (Arab owned). They were fantastic. Eventually, I grew my hair out and I met a nice lady (from Togo?) who braided it for me. I have a similar issue with flaking. I notice that when I don't drink enough water (like 2 L/per day) and when I consume a lot of carbohydrates, my scalp condition is most prevalent. There are things you can try on your scalp, and that I can recommend, but start with the inside.
With regards to your experiences with black people, I am so sorry. I cannot relate though as I met some friendly black people there (from Senegal, Togo, Kenya, Algeria, Egypt, Sudan, Tunisia, Rwanda, Congo and Cameroon). I experienced racism from locals though. I hope you do not allow their behavior to change you. Continue to be friendly! Your personality is great!
Look at me grinding from ear to ear. Tell me I’m dreaming and someone from Jamaica ain’t watching me. Girl I need to start learning Jamaica Patios if that’s how they spell it. Thank you so much for your advice. I guess I need to watch what I consume as at now and I will be looking for remedies because I really want to grow my hair again.
You’re so right, there are really some good black people in Belgium and I promise I won’t let any local let their racism get to me 😊
Thank you so much 😊
@@FlavineTabe 😀 Yes, Flavine, you have an audience in Jamaica. 👋 I stay in touch with Be life/issues 🇧🇪 as the option to return exists, so your content popped up on my feed. I am waiting for some paperwork regarding my ability to work there to be processed and the "pandemonium" has slowed things drastically. I left in 2020, just before the post study visa was an option. So far, my degree from Be is not useful for jobs here. A friend of mine who studied something else in Be returned to her region and is also having no success with getting jobs with her Be Masters. What are you studying? Try your best to get a job in your field over there. Luckily you know one of the official languages and can work while you study. I am continuing to learn Dutch but I have a hard time staying motivated as I don't use it here. Mi shame fi say mi nuh speak much patwah, but mi can help yuh likkle bit! (You got the spelling of patois correct, btw)
Take care!
On another note...I just saw your latest video. The haircut though! 👌🏾👌🏾🔥🔥
@@1marialatoya Hey sis I'm studying Master in Management and seriously looking for a job around that field. I know it can't be easy but your friend should not stop searching. I can't wait for your paper work to be complete so that you can come back to Belgium. Praying for positive results.
@@1marialatoya Aww thank you so much
I also learned to live in the moment cuz there’s actually no pay stressing over things you can’t control. Like we just have to enjoy this new experience
Exactly. No point at all. I’ve stopped worrying. Any how it comes, I just enjoy the moment and be happy. If I die today, that’s all
😂😂😂
Am happy you are an amazing girl with wisdom to approach life challenges. Love your videos and this one in particular is awesome
Black people are their own enemies, just as some women are their fellow women's headache👌🏾
Very true mum
I think you have seborhicc dermatitis. The good and long lasting way to do it is to stop eating carbs, bread, sugar, and yeast. If you cant or that's too much you need a strong selsum blue shampoo, and then grease your scalp with animal fat. It can come from cow, or goat or anything. It's called tallow. It works good. Hope that helps. Be careful cuz that shampoo can break your hair. I love pasta too thats why i also have the same condition.
Omg so I need to stop eating pasta 😭😭
I'm Nigerian. Grew up in cameroon. I now live in Ireland. Everything you said about black people in belguim. It's the same thing here in Ireland.
Black Kids born here are messed up too.
It scares me how I will raise my kids here when I have one.
@@harryokonkwo my brother it’s a general problem abroad. I have so many people complaining too. It’s really sad. I don’t know how we will change this system 😅
Keep up flabelle. It is Rose from Yaounde Cameroon . The wife of sis caro brother

@@HilaryMaeva you want to come with your boyfriend? Because we just came as students. We all applied for a course
Flavine to be honest I understand perfectly. We blacks really need to improve on our relationships. I totally agree with you on this video
I couldn’t even say all my black experiences. It’s really sad
Yes ohh mama spaghetti n sauce . Beautiful
My sister I can’t help it. Favourite meal😅

@@HilaryMaeva thank you so much in advance 😊
Hello Flavine don’t mind those black people our Africans are like that they have too much jealousy especially when they see you in such a place they feel like they should be the ones here alone don’t worry God has a destiny for you just have faith in him and he will make you whom you desire to be in the future
Amen. Thanks for the kind words my sis
Honestly Fla I have the same situation reason I shaved my hair last summer. It’s so annoying
Ahhh my sister I’ve joined you oh. I just cut my hair yesterday 😊
Use Dermazol Shampoo, for your hair!!
Thank u
Sis I am also suffering currently from that scalp issues coming out like flakes. I never had it till after I had my baby I started experiencing such scalp problems. I am currently visiting a hair professional to help me out and treat it fingers crossed. My sister black people need to change ooo and I will tell u whites don’t hv any issues is us blacks that hv massive issues and attitude. We hate ourselves shameful.
Sis the dandruff thing don pass me. I can’t take it again. I don cut my hair already. I pray the professional helps you out 😊

This lady 😅is funny I like her
Thank you 😊
Maybe grandma didn’t do that intentionally ooo sis 😂😂might just be a coincidence
Na lie oh. It has happened many times now we’re just used to it
Some will even just be smiling in a funny way as if they’re with you but we know them 🤣
😄 ashia for your hair condition. I know it's not funny but u made it funny😆.
This racism stuff eh!🤦♀️ i personally think it's systematic and people inherit it like genes. I can't believe pipo Like this exist.
Thank you very much 😊
Omg I couldn't agree less!! The attitude is just zero. That's why someone who's not here would be feeling as though you don't want to have black people as friends but they don't understand. Even ordinary phone chatting is like you're disturbing💔
Lol🤣🤣🤣
next time you share your food with me. lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's d way u put in d naija slangs for me e.g Japa
As in ehh . I’ve watched so many Nigerians that I now sound like them. I can’t even help it again. Everybody in Belgium think I’m a Nigerian 🤣
@@FlavineTabe Flavin is it possible to live at Péruwelz and school at Odisee University College
@@FlavineTabe wow that's nice we have given you the naija spirit girl and I also got my admission letter today
@@michaelessien9701 yayyyy congratulations
@@FlavineTabe thank you sis
The thing with the grandma could be racist, but it could also be she didn't want to sit in a seat with her back facing the driving direction. I'm only interpreting the situation, so I don't know, but sometimes people get sick when they can't see where the bus is going ;)
I appreciate your input but this has happened many times not just to me but to others. Also with the way the seats were, grandma could clearly see where she’s going. But again, I really wasn’t mad, I just think it was actually funny.
Yes most of these whites kids love putting their feet on the seats and feeling so comfortable and yes most of them don’t wash their shoes 🤣🤣🤣u see colour don change all
Ah so it’s a European problem 🤣🤣 them nor di wash shoe 🤣🤣
you are so correct,Blacks will never promote another black.am also facing same challenges but i always mind my bussiness ,better i loss yah
Na really to mind our business ya 🤣🤣
@@FlavineTabe Belgium is really a difficult place especially if you don't have a direct family, most times I would tell myself better I go back
But watching your videos always gives me hope
@@nkabemineva9710 let’s just be positive sis. I’m glad I could help in one way
