Hey there! Great question. Out-of-the-box Shopify themes are fairly well set up sales funnels. So most themes are sales-ready for the most part. What you'll want to incorporate into your website are elements of urgency and scarcity. Make sure your website visitors know that your deals are time sensitive and "while supplies last" etc. In addition to that, make sure your content is engaging and persuasive and that your policy pages clearly explain the post-purchase procedure. You're looking to build trust and to engage visitors as much as possible. The best way to turn visitors into customers is to communicate clearly -- and sell awesome products! -Jessica

Do you have any tips for similar products ? I sell decals, apart from what the decal represents, it's pretty much always the same product in different forms and I know google penalizes for repetitive content. How can I manage that ?
Hi Jessica :) I lack imagination with creative writing so I engaged a company to write all my descriptions for me. They asked if I wanted them written in US English or AU English. I am based in Australia. Not sure if this is the case of America's the biggest market so appeal to them or stay true to your home roots and go with AU English...? I would very much appreciate your view?

Fabulous video! I have a short shipping blurb at the end of my product descriptions - is this effective or should I take it out? How many sentences is optimal in your product description?
I have a fully detailed shipping page and FAQ to answer any potential question they may have. I sell only within Canada so I tell them we are a small Canadian owned company with limited storage space and we order many of our products directly from our supplier when they order. I tell them our suppliers are located throughout the world because it is true. We have ordered products that have come from many countries. Yes a lot are China but I find people don’t like to hear the product is being sent from China.

Unfortunately, in the Oberlo marketplace there aren't any books, nor are there DVD collections. You might find some on AliExpress but I cannot speak the quality of the content. If you add the title of your product description to your product, most likely you need to use the brand of the product you want to sell from aliexpress or any other vendors. How to mask this the best, because the customer can just google that brand and order it right from aliexpress.

If you write blog posts that highlight the benefits of your product or service or help the reader overcome challenges they're facing, then you're doing it right. It doesn't matter how eloquently you write, if you're offering real value, that's all that matters. So think about the problems you can solve for your customers and write about that! -Jessica 🙂
