Winnie the Pooh is just something you don't grow out of. I mean sure, maybe you don't watch the movies anymore, maybe you don't play with the toys anymore either, but you can't walk by anything from Winnie the Pooh in a store without even a small smile coming to your face. You still remember what it held for you as a child, from its subtle morals to its catchy tunes and loveable characters, and you can't help but look back on it in fondness as an adult and start wishing you could go back to those days in the Hundred Acre Wood...

I know this comment is 5 years old now, but I totally agree! There's something about Pooh that's timeless. It's one of the few things people liked as a kid and aren't embarrassed to admit they liked it as a kid lol.

Tears are streaming down my face right now. So many happy childhood memories that I never want to forget. I doubt I'll ever grow out of Winnie the Pooh, as childish as it sounds (coming from a girl who is nearing 20 years old) Pooh has been a cherished friend since I was 3-4 years old, and he's one friend that I'll never have to say goodbye to :)

Imagine: you’re four years old on your trip to Disney World, you’re riding Winnie the Pooh. You love Winnie the Pooh. Unfortunately, the ride breaks down right around 1:18, and you are left in silence whilst Tigger stares at you. The only thing distracting you is the black lights, when suddenly, the ride starts back up, and you are thrown into the Heffalump Nightmare... for the rest of the day, you force your parents to only ride Small World because you’re now terrified of Winnie the Pooh. This was my experience, and I hope it happens to no child ever again.

Nah, it's an old illusion trick called "Pepper's Ghost." It’s a effect that relies on a heavy glass plate or a half-silvered mirror mounted at a 45° angle. The glass reflects the hidden “ghosts” (in this case, a separate Pooh bear) that are positioned off stage (or under the stage) into the viewer’s line of sight. The same effect is used for the ballroom ghosts in the Haunted Mansion.

I remember I had one day at magic kingdom in 2014 and it was already 11:30pm or almost midnight, but my parents were still at the gift shop lmao so me and my brother walked around and the closest ride to my parents was this one, still open but empty, so we got in. I remember it went really fast and I didn’t know where to look lmao, I actually feel like maybe they rushed it since it was so late and it was only me and my brother on the carts? Idk if it’s possible, but I remember it went fast for a ride like that haha. Anyways it was so not what I expected and I was really creeped out in the end lmao, I wanna go backkk

Leondra Felder when i was a little kid, this was my favorite ride and it was closed that day for technical difficulties! I went again november 2017 and i was really excited to finally ride this again, but the ride closed while my friends and I were in line for the same exact reason. It was working in the evening, but i was so disappointed haha
