Something that their new rides are missing is atmosphere. They may have the IPs and some cool effects, but old rides like this, pirates of the Caribbean, haunted mansion, thunder mountain railroad etc, thrive on overwhelming the senses. Everything has texture, everything has a gritty or otherworldly sound.

Mom and I went on this ride the few times we visited Florida. Good times. Miss you Mom.

Before the tourists swamped the Great Smokeys and the national park in NC, we courted high in the Balsams (Great Smokies). I know, it was long ago - the mid-point of the last century. We were part of the silent generation. We were both born because our mothers wanted a baby as a remembrance of the men they were sending to war. When we met, we had the same childhood stories of finally meeting our fathers. She had a story of her tiny mountain community combining ration stamps so she could have her first pair of shoes. I had to live on a subsistence farm in PA. When I finally found the Smokey Mountains, there she was. We courted, as was the practice in that time. We had to try each other out to see if we could do a lifetime together. We did. In 2021, I would have to lay her to her rest up high in the Smokeys. I want to be with her again.

In my opinion, this was the only Disney parade worth watching

I think this is a cool video, but I don't understand why you chose to cut the loop at Magic Kingdom and skip the Contemporary completely

All my life I’ve wanted more than anything to go on this ride and now, at 41, I’m thinking crap, how cheesy! I guess my time has passed…I think the worst thing I believed from my elders, as a child, even as a teenager and young adult is that “it’s never too late” because it most certainly is too late for soooo many things as you age, miss out and so on. If it wasn’t too late for anything, nobody would live/die with regret. Teach your youngsters that it can and will be too late, BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE!!!⏰ 🫣

As much as i love Disney Springs (Downtown Disney) i wish they would have kept some of the West Sides vibe. I feel like its gotten watered down so much. Especially without Disney Quest.

I was only 6 when I went on that ride I'm a fan of jaws movies and the ride is absolutely terrifying when you're just a kid

I remember as a child being so terrified of the Alien segment! I would deliberately hide myself so the aliens couldn't see me. 😂

i remember that ride because i had never seen the movie when i went on this ride it made me want to see the film and on the flight back to the uk they were showing aliens on the plane

never should have introduced IPs into EPCOT it is so far from what it was meant to be

I loved this ride in Norway, and my dad would always go to the little bakery in the same section. I wish they wouldn’t keep removing good rides.

El peor de todos... el último. Hoy tendré pesadillas. No sé porqué me quedé mirando sabiendo que cada vez que se adentraba se ponía más y más tétrico y espantoso. No me equivoqué. Ya lo sé para si aún existe no entrar. Que horror.

This was my favorite part of this ride , and I will always be mad Disney closed it. Wonder what happened to the Ripley animatronic? I must say they didnt get her face sculpt even remotely close to what Sigourney Weaver looks like. But it was a great ride nonetheless.

I went on this ride when I was 10 or 11, so 94-95. It's actually one of the few things I still remember pretty vividly of the whole experience. It seemed alot bigger to me then. I could of sworn I remembered it going over a waterfall or something though, or a sped up part or something. I also remember going on "Honey, I shrunk the Audience", but I think that was inside Disney itself. I also remember going to Sea World pretty well. All of these were over the course of 3 days. 4th day, we went on an airboat ride and I remember seeing gators, and eating a gator "beef"stick that tasted alot like chicken. I'm here trying to reinforce those memories, back from a time when Disney was actually good and family friendly. I wouldn't take my kids there now, nope.
